Becky & Jonny's Wedding Story
I challenge anyone not to fall for these two adventurous souls.
Seriously, nothing seems to faze them! From their early morning skinny dips in the North Sea (don't worry ill not share these just yet ) to conquering and swinming the English Channel, their fearless spirit shines through. Planning a beach wedding in Northumberland in October takes a special kind of courage but as a seasoned wedding documentarian, I've discovered that it's the couples who embrace the unconventional that create the most unforgettable weddings.
Every single guest at this wedding was wholeheartedly committed to celebrating Becky and Jonny's love. Their choice of an outdoor ceremony overlooking the sea perfectly captured their essence. Despite the unpredictable Northumberland weather, hearing all the guests singing "All you need is love” said it all really. Miraculously, the weather eventually cooperated, and the drizzle stopped! Credit too to the Northumberland Registrars who enabled this to happen. Not all counties would have permitted this! They also bigged up the singing!
I've always believed that the key to success in the face of wet weather at a wedding is to embrace the moment and savour it. And this wedding proved that philosophy right. It turned out to be an absolutely fantastic celebration, and I'm grateful to have been a part of it. Congratulations to Becky and Jonny! P.S. That first shot in the series, captured amidst the rain, is a testament to how nothing could dampen these spirits. It was the perfect way to wrap up the night, and I absolutely adore it!
