Ailsa & Will's Wedding Story
Ailsa and Will got married in September 2018 and choose to have our entertainment throughout the day. Here's what they had to say afterwards!
"Down for the Count blew us away. We couldn’t have asked for more on our wedding day! The live music helped set the tone for a perfect day. We had the string quartet and vocalist at the church, which was stunningly beautiful and very emotional, a roaming trio during canapés at the reception to get everyone in the party mood and a 10-piece band for the evening reception to keep everyone on the dancefloor all night.
Before the wedding we had lots of ideas on how we wanted to include live music. Mike couldn't have been more helpful, finding a way to incorporate everything we wanted - including a last minute request of Stand by Me in the church and roaming musicians outside during the reception canapes! Mike created a number of custom orchestrations for us, including our first dance to Something Beautiful. We originally booked Down for the Count as they promised to have all our guests on the danc floor all night - they did not disappoint! Many of our guests commented afterwards that they’d never danced so much at a wedding! We had so many compliments from our guests about the band. All of the music throughout the day took our breath away. Mike and the band made our day so special, we really can't recommend them highly enough."
