This month's Power User prize really rocks...! It's a two hour live music party band package worth £1,000. The prize comes courtesy of A Box Full of Sparks; professional musicians based in Merseyside, who travel nationally to ensure brides have a wedding reception to remember.
"There's an art to choosing a playlist for your reception." says Kevin Hookham. "Music has to appeal to the whole age spectrum and to all tastes. You need to get as many people as possible up dancing, or singing along."
The band is unique because they're professional full-time musicians and write their own backing tracks. On the night, they'll provide vocals, lead, bass and rhythm guitar, and whilst some of the backing tracks are pre-recorded, everything you hear during A Box Full of Sparks's performance is played by the band members themselves.
"We've created a carefully designed two-hour classic rock, pop and soul show." says Kevin. "We've professional lighting and special stage effects to provide an outstanding experience. We guarantee superb musicianship, ensuring accurate reproduction of the original tracks, with all your favourite riffs, licks and harmonies."
The band has a huge repertoire including the Beatles, Stones, and modern offerings from artists like Kings of Leon and The Killers - as well as rock and punk offerings. The band can also learn specific songs not already in their repertoire by special request.
Working with budgets from £700-£1,500, anywhere in the UK, the band have their own equipment, public liability insurance and most importantly, the talent, to ensure your wedding reception is the best night your guests have ever experienced!
