Mens Wedding Suits

With many of us are limiting the wedding budget and trying to limit splashing out on unnecessary items, some are looking to budgeting with your mens wedding suits. Read the tips and decide whether it will save you a bit of money, or be worth the investment.

You have to decide whether or not you are going to wear the suit again. If you don’t find yourself at the Opera often and aren’t one for charity balls maybe renting is best for you. Especially if you are wearing a morning suit, as the only time it would be socially acceptable for you to wear it again would be if you are asked to be an usher, or are off to the races. The last thing you want is it sitting in your wardrobe for years on end doing no more than gathering dust

But if you do find that you are often in need of a smart looking tux then maybe this is a chance to invest in a classic designer. A fitted suit would be a luxury, the liklihood is that you’ll never have one like it. Check out Calvin Klein’s latest range of Tuxedo’s and Ralph Lauren’s new Black Label or their Lauren collection for some idea’s. You’ll find that you can wear a nice tuxedo again and again.

Be careful though, if you find that your wife’s coffee table is littered with Vogue and Elle magazines then you are most likely heading for a fashionista wedding. In this case forking out for a tux that’ll be outdated next year is probably not a sound investment. Although Paul Smith’s new London collection provides a range of stylish looks to suit the true English Gentleman if you are tempted.

If you want to rent a tux I’d advise you to check out Same Difference Menswear Hire. They offer a good range of traditional tuxedos at competitive prices. As do Moss Bros who have plenty of stores around the country, and rate themselves as ‘the UK’s no. 1 branded suit specialist. Peter Posh also offers a range of rentable suits for any ‘posh’ occasions. But beware, if you damage a suit, more often than not you will have to pay for the suit in full.

Some grooms choose to buy a used tuxedo, but this tends to be more expensive than renting a tux and can make your day less individual. But if you know your ebay then this might be the right option for you.

At the end of the day, the main thing is that you feel comfortable in and proud of what you’re wearing.
