Samantha Brown is October’s Power User Prize Winner | UKbride

Samantha and Jonathan are due to get married on 31st August 2024.

“I work for a company that makes Christmas crackers around the world, Jonathan works for a wood company that makes flooring for yachts. We first met when we were just 17, I was his sister's friend and we actually didn't always get on as he was very annoying (as most teen boys are). We both went our separate ways and had relationships/children and then we finally came back together when our children (both the same age) were just 2 years old. We now live just outside of Birmingham with our 3 children” said Samantha. 

“My mom passed away when I was 15 - before she did she would always take me to a seaside town called Tenby in Wales - this was her favourite beach and soon became mine. As I got older it became a place we would regularly visit with our children - In 2022 we went to Tenby and a few friends joined us, as well as our parents and Jonathan's brother (not out of the usual for us as family holidays are the best) - We took a picnic to the beach with all the family & friends, as well as the 1000 kids we seemed to have with us and he asked for a picture of us on the beach - so as we posed for a picture he got down on one knee, in front of everyone, in such a magical place and asked me to marry him.”

“Planning is going well, we are well and truly in the process of making sure everything is on the right road! We are making a lot of our decor ourselves as I'm very crafty and love doing this kind of thing.”

“I have my dress, my dream dress! It's completely different from what I originally wanted.”
