Good luck to UKbride's £25,000 wedding winners Naomi and Sean as the couple celebrate their wedding... Rachel Hollis chats to our anxious bride-to be!

Congratulations this weekend to Naomi and Sean, winners of our 2010 Dream Wedding! The Isle of Wight couple will marry at Landguard Manor after winning our £25,000 competition, so UKbride's Rachel Hollis decided to talk weddings to the excited bride-to-be to find out if all of her plans had come together...

Rachel: Is the build-up to the wedding proving stressful?

Naomi: No, it’s been pretty relaxed actually, and everything is now in place for the big day!

Rachel: What’s been the hardest thing to organise?

Naomi: Keeping all the family happy has definitely been the most stressful aspect of the wedding preparations! It has taken quite a while to do all the table plans - it has been so difficult to try and please everybody by putting them next to somebody they get on with… UKbride’s table planner certainly helped!

Rachel: What has been the most fun part of planning your wedding?

Naomi [No hesitation with this one...!]: Definitely picking my dress — it was so exciting!

Rachel: Now for some of the details of what you’ve chosen for the big day... what flowers are you having?

Naomi: We’ve chosen to have arrangements made up with Orchids and Calla Lillies. The colour scheme for these is black, ivory and purple- we haven’t seen them made up yet so we’re trusting the florist to make them look beautiful!

Rachel: What favours have you chosen?

Naomi: The favours were actually the first thing we bought- we’re having sticks of rock which say ‘Just Married’ on them… we bought them off E-Bay ages ago!

Rachel: And what about the most important thing... your dress? Tell me all about it!

Naomi: I can’t…! Hubby-to-be is sat right next to me!

Rachel: Oh no… I was looking forward to hearing about that the most! OK, so are you experiencing any last minute nerves?

Naomi: Sorry, it has to be kept secret from him! We’ve got a few pre-wedding nerves, but only the usual worries of making sure everything is in place for next Saturday.

Rachel: What are your hen and stag plans?

Naomi: We actually had our hen and stag celebrations a couple of weeks ago... I had a pampering spa day, and Sean went to a Sheffield Wednesday match with his friends. But we’re planning on going out together with all our friends this weekend as well.

Rachel: Have your bridesmaids been helpful in the run up to the wedding? Are they nervous at all?

Naomi: Yes, they’ve been very helpful ... I think my Maid-of-Honour is worried about falling down the stairs but apart from that I don’t think they’re too nervous!

Rachel: And finally… do you know where you’re going on your honeymoon or is it going to be a surprise?

Naomi: Yes...! We’re going to Jamaica which I’m so excited about! I have only been abroad once before so I’m really looking forward to it!

Naomi and Sean are getting hitched this Saturday and I’m sure you’ll join UKbride in wishing them the best for their big day! Congratulations and good luck to both of you!

Naomi and Sean - 2010 Dream Wedding Winners

Isle of Wight bride-to-be Naomi and fiancée Sean Taylor will tie the knot this year after winning the wedding of their dreams on UKbride.

The couple won their wedding venue, bridal wear, groomsmen’s outfits, honeymoon, stag & hen weekends and jewellery.

The competition was organised by UKbride.co.uk, which is now ranked as the number one wedding website in the UK.

On planning her wedding, Naomi says; “I didn’t know where to start, but I’ve found the site so handy. I was able to create a guest list and table plan really easily.”

In addition, Naomi enjoyed browsing through the site’s library of wedding dresses to find her dream wedding dress, and used UKbride’s lively forum and wedding supermarket.

Naomi and Sean’s wedding will take place on the Isle of Wight at Landguard Manor, with honeymoon provided by Top Drawer Holidays and Sandals, the wedding dress by Mori Lee, suit hire by Formally Yours, jewellery by F Hinds and stag & hen nights by Maximise.
