Sweden's Ice Hotel
Spring has sprung, and warmer weather is just around the corner… but we’ve found a bride who’s still chilling out. As it turns out, it’s a nice day for a white wedding… in a snowy ice palace!

Then spare a thought for Buckinghamshire couple Claire and James, who opted to spend their wedding day in a distinctly chilly ice palace!
At its warmest point, the Ice Hotel in Sweden where the couple staged their wedding was just -5°c… distinctly pleasant compared to the temperatures of -20°c outside!
Joining the couple and their 14 guests in Sweden’s Ice Hotel, this year celebrating its 20th anniversary was Uzair Kharawala, the couple’s wedding photographer, who specialises in shooting portraits on-locations and low light winter weddings.
Supplying these exclusive images, Oz says; “The ceremony took place in the Ice Chapel which lasted about 30 minutes. After the ceremony the wedding party were off to the Ice Bar where the celebrations started.”
“After the drinks the formal shots were taken. I had to work pretty fast due to the extreme temperature and did not want to get the guests waiting around and getting any more colder.”
