Fly Away Ballooning (FAB) fly passengers in hot air balloons throughout the South of the UK. FAB was co-founded by Hugo who is our Chief Pilot. Hugo is a 3rd Generation Balloonist and the fifth balloonist in his family. Hugo’s rich heritage has fuelled a passion for ballooning. Having learnt the basics of balloon flight from his Father, Hugo went on to gain experience in the Yarra Valley, Australia. Hugo realised that there was strong interest in ballooning in the South and after looking at what was on offer he believed that there was room for a more personal and tailored experience. Further to this, we wanted to offer an experience that encompassed what is it is to be a balloonist and make it more than just a flight. 2022 is an exciting time for FAB. Whilst we continue to fly passengers, we are launching a Wedding Entertainment Package with a national coverage.

Our Wedding Entertainment Package includes: A tethered hot air balloon provides a spectacular backdrop and fabulous entertainment. The quintessentially romantic nature of hot air balloons help to create a magical feel to a wonderful event. Allow our traditional wicker basket to lift your guests high above the venue to enjoy the thrills and views it has to offer. As the balloon cools and comes back to earth it’s then ready for the next guests to hop in and experience the magic. As darkness falls the atmosphere intensifies as our balloon glows under the bright flame from the burners creating a colourful bulb and a moment to remember. Balloons are very photogenic and there are many opportunities for your guests to capture the moment.
