Hannah works for the NHS as a Diagnostics Systems Administrator and Paul is a bus driver. The couple met when the bus that Paul was driving broke down at Hannah’s bus stop. The couple spent an hour chatting and love blossomed from there.

“Paul proposed on Christmas Day 2020. He invited close friends and family round and I was passed a present that Paul’s friend had been keeping safe for him. I had butterflies opening it and as soon I saw the ring, I was in instant shocked and cried. I turned to Paul and he said “Think it was about time we got married?” I turned around and everyone was crying.

The planning process is going quite slow at the moment due to current times. We have chosen our venue and secured our date.

I haven’t chosen my dress yet as I am waiting until a bit closer to the time but I can’t wait to start trying on dresses. I have booked my flowers, hair and makeup and still have lots more to book.

We were utterly shocked to have won and we couldn’t believe it at first.
