Caroline and Philip are busy planning their wedding for Summer 2025.

“I am a Complex Specialist Carer; I provide night-time care for a teenager with a tracheostomy and a ventilator.”

“Philip and I met on the Muddy Matches dating app on January of this year. I live in Alexandria, which is near Loch Lomond in Scotland.” 

“We were intentional about marriage from the start, as I am a practicing Catholic and we are waiting till marriage to move in together. For a proposal I gave him a Claddagh ring, a traditional ring from Galway which is where I’m from. The setting was beneath his favourite tree in Dartmoor National Park near where he’s from in England. He’s a horticulturalist and being in nature is important to him. This was in June when I spent a week with him in England meeting his family and friends.” 

“We are saving up for our wedding at the moment. Depending on savings we will have immediate family which would be 20 people or 100 with more of our loved ones. It will be a Catholic Mass in a church, with dinner afterwards in a venue with nature walks, lots of trees and gardens.”

“I’m looking forward to the coaching so that I can learn to be more disciplined with fitness and nutrition. I regularly go to jiu-jitsu training and enjoy hikes so I would like to incorporate these activities into my fitness plan.”
