Wedding Party mistook for UFOs
The Bower's thought they had come across a unique wedding idea when they released sky lanterns at their wedding reception.
Onlookers in Lincoln were looking up at the air in amazement earlier this month as the night sky filled with strange lights. “We just couldn’t explain it,” said one witness.
The Sun, Daily Mail and other national newspapers even gave the story coverage. Little were they to know that the source of the mysterious lights was actually a wedding reception!
Claire and Adrian Bower arranged for all their guests at their wedding reception to release a group of sky lanterns at the same time, blissfully unaware of the chaos it would cause.
Witnesses were shocked to see over fifty of the ‘UFOs’ across the Lincolnshire skyline, but Mrs. Bower can see the funny side of it. “The thought we would create such a buzz never even crossed our minds!”
