2012 Wedding Competition Winners! | UKbride

Love is in the air! We have now drawn our wedding competition winner and are ready to announce who this lucky bride-to-be is!

We would like to you to join us in congratulating Carly Staggs and her fiancé Mark Luker as our winners of the annual UKbride wedding competition. Carly Staggs, known in the forum as: FutureMrsLuker has won our amazing prize wedding competition.

Carly and Mark met on September 5th 2005 and will tie the knot on October 6th 2012, having been together for seven years and engaged for five.

"I was absolutely overwhelmed. I didn't know whether to laugh of cry and Mark thought I was joking." says Carly Staggs.

This year the prize winners will enjoy a whole host of treats, and they will be able to focus on themselves.

"Having three young children, our wedding was going to be a 'pay as we go' wedding, and we only had a budget of £1,500. Winning this competition means we no longer have to worry about where the money will come from." says Carly.

Carly and Mark decided to get engaged as a mutual decision to take the next step in their relationship, and three weeks later found out they were expecting their first child. This meant that wedding plans went on hold.
