More than Just a Band! The Redfords are passionate about making the best day of your life even better! As well as music that will keep you dancing all night long, we offer a variety of packages to suit any venue and cater to each couples taste, all resulting in the same thing; a party to remember!
The Redfords continue to offer a service that exceeds the needs and expectations of our clients and results in the wedding ceremony and reception that our couples have dreamed about. Origins
The Redfords are a family run band, we come from a large musical family, and we have attended a lot of weddings! More often than not, siblings, cousins, aunties and uncles would ask if we could play at their events. After some time, we all agreed that there was no better compliment than being asked to play at one of the most important days of the bride and grooms life. We decided to work on making the band available to couples outside of our family, whilst still providing music that had our family values at the heart of the product. Ten years later we have gone from strength to strength and play every show, extending our Redfords family with countless happy couples.
Line Up
The Redfords are a live band comprising of guitar, bass and drums, with male and female lead vocals. We specialise in harmony singing and “mash ups” meaning the transition from each song in our set is seamless and keeps people on the dance floor for longer. The Redfords are able to provide for all musical needs for the entire wedding day, from the ceremony to the reception, and everything in between.
Our acoustic duo (guitar and two vocals) will learn and perform songs of your choice to enhance your ceremony and make it more personal. They can also provide background music during your drinks reception ensuring that guests are entertained whilst the official photography element of the day takes place.
The rest of the band then arrive to complete the line up for the evening entertainment.
Our experience has taught us that the guests at a wedding will range from toddlers to great Grandparents! We play music that will speak to every generation in attendance, playing everything from Chuck Berry, Elvis and The Beatles through to Backstreet Boys, Killers and Bruno Mars.
Approx. how long do you perform for?
The Redfords acoustic duo plays from the beginning of the ceremony if required, and drinks reception through to when the guests are seated for the wedding breakfast. In some cases we have also been asked to play during the wedding breakfast which we have of course accommodated.
During the evening reception we will play 150 minutes of live music split into either two or three sets, depending on the time available between the first dance and the venue’s curfew. For music between band sets we also provide an on stage DJ to take requests rather than the standard iPod playlist.
100% Sound limiter Friendly - In order to meet the sound requirements of many of Kents venues, the Redfords are proud to be 100% sound limiter friendly, without compromising the quality of the performance or the experience of the audience. This is a achieved with our investment into state of the art audio equipment. We record the sound levels of each performance and log these to ensure that we are working within the guidelines of the

Photos - Our events photographer is on hand to capture those unique relaxed dance floor moments at no extra cost. Pictures of the evening are loaded to a private dedicated website. Clients are able to download their favourite low resolution watermarked images free of charge. High resolution images are available from The Redfords for a nominal fee, these are provided on a USB stick. We also upload a selection of these photos to our Facebook and Instagram page and tag the wedding venue. This not only puts the venue in the spotlight but allows family and friends in the photo to tag themselves meaning more people can share amazing memories of the celebration.
Party Hats and Dance floor Photo Booth COVID-19 depending - After the formal first dance is over, people like to let their hair down and party, in the second band set we introduce the audience to our now famous box of party hats, wigs, masks and crazy glasses. This injects added energy into the evening. All of the time our photographer is capturing images. This unique feature has proven very successful and we call it our “Dance Floor Photo Booth” These photos are also very popular with our guests and often we receive facebook notifications to say that our photos are being used as profile pictures and we often receive comments from Brides and Grooms about how this has enhanced their reception.

Weddings need songs for every generation from across all the decades of Popular Music. We are constantly adding new songs to our live wedding band set lists.
