Information For Lakes Wedding Music

I am a Wedding & Party Pianist. I play live piano music for your wedding. As a Party Pianist, I provide an evening 'wind-down' for those couples who don't want a band or disco to end the wedding day.

For weddings, I provide music for your guests' arrival, the pre-ceremony, the wedding ceremony, the drinks reception and the wedding breakfast, or any combination of these. The sort of music I play for the Wedding Ceremony is very much your choice, but apart from including a few of your favourites during the Drinks Reception and Wedding Breakfast, I try to play something for everyone - from nursery rhymes for tinies, right through from 30s and 40s music, to songs of the present day. In the evening, if you would like a gentle finale to your special day, I can provide either gentle background piano music, or I can perform songs from my cabaret show - 'A Blast from the Past' where I sing humorous songs from Noël Coward and Flanders & Swann. The songs I sing are particularly well known and loved amongst the 60 - 90 year old age groups! A taste of 'A Blast from the Past' can be found amongst my other videos.

Weddings: My main business is providing music for weddings. I play for the wedding ceremony itself, the post-ceremony drinks reception, the wedding breakfast and for couples who want a more romantic end to their special day, I play gentle ballads. Anniversaries: I can provide music for important wedding anniversaries - 25th, 40th, 50th and 60th anniversaries in particular. I have a vast repertoire of music from all eras from the 1920s onwards and can play jazz piano through to modern pop ballads. Corporate parties: Again, I play at many of these events through lunch or dinner and these days I perform a unique cabaret act which I call A Musicians' Union Contract between us secures your booking. Dress code: Call me old fashioned, but I always like to dress formally for weddings and parties, etc. In summer I usually wear a lightweight suit, white shirt, colourfu bow tie, or a navy blue blazer and grey trousers. In winter I wear a heavier suit. Still on the subject of clothes, if the person who books me would prefer a more casual dress, I am only too happy to oblige!
