hi everyone! quick question about invites. our first language is welsh, and we are intending to write our invites out in welsh, as well as have a welsh poem at the bottom. however, we have maybe 3 guests coming who cannot speak welsh. what should we do in regards to their invites? our date will be written in just numbers, and the location name is welsh with no translation anyway, so does it matter when the most important info is clear? thank you!

Perhaps you could just include a nicely typed out translation with the invitation?

Could you add a small card with a translation on just for your non-Welsh speakers? Otherwise, if you have a wedding website you could just direct them to an English section on there? Pob lwc x

Why not add a translation in with invite.
Not really fair expecting non welsh speaking guests to second guess whats said

You really do need to add a translation

Send the invite in welsh with a little note to translate to the non welsh speaking ones

Rather than re-print new invitations just for 3 people, I would include a little card/note with a translation.
I think you run the risk of possibly offending them if you don't, because it might make them feel that you don't really think they're important enough to have a translated invitation..

We have French and Scottish guests so are having bilingual invites and order of services. The invite will be landscape with one half in french and the other half in English

No question, you need to include a translation (I imagine an insert would be easiest). It was be rude to expect them to just go with it because they have the numerical info. They mean enough to invite and especially if you are expecting them to travel for the wedding I personally think you should make the effort to give them just as much info as the native speakers
