It helps the venues if you have an idea of the evening guests as well, some like ourselves don't insist you pay for all the evening guests to have a buffet that attend however due to fire regulations and also bar staff they need to know who many people are attending!

I would ask evening guests to rsvp as I made the mistake of not doing this and 12 people never turned up to our evening reception which lost us £240. If we had known we could have invited other people.
