We are getting married on a Saturday and was thinking of finishing work on the wednesday so I have a couple of days to sort last minute things and take things to the venue, get nails done etc. Do you think that's enough time?
I only have 2 days also to get last minute things done, think it should be plenty of time as long as you have organised yourself well? I like a good list haha :)
I'm incredibly organised but I'm planning on taking 2 weeks off before the wedding. Everyone I know who has gotten married says that no matter how organised they have been there has always been so much to do (even the ones who had wedding planners have said this) plus I want some down time and I doubt I would be very effective at work, I will be just too excited and distracted.
Hi the Wednesday is fine plenty of time :)
I'm a shift worker and worked out that if take my three shifts prior to my wedding day it'll give me a week off, which I'm hoping will allow me to get last minute things done as well as a little pampering. Good luck with your day.
No matter if you take three weeks off beforehand you will still be in a rush with last minute things. The last minute things are last minute things and really can't be done sooner because flowers will wilt and cakes will go stale. (I am also only taking two days off ... can't afford more as I am self-employed.)
That's enough time . I don't work as I'm a house wife and all my appointments for week of the wedding is in last 3 days even though I don't work .
