Hi everyone. I have been reading that we have to get special presents for people in the bridal party etc. I'm just wondering who other people are buying for. Are you buying for all members of immediate family or just bridal party? Please could people give me some idea who they're buying for and what's expected traditionally. Thank you for your replies.

Parents of both people getting married, to say thank you for raising you. Wedding party members and bridal party members. It can just be a small token, something they can use on the day, it doesn't have to cost a lot. Good luck xx

I will be buying for my Mum and Gran as they are contributing in many ways. My gran is making my cake and outfits for the children. She won't accept money so a present is my way of showing my appreciation

Sits also becoming a thing where the bride and groom buy each other presents aswell but they usually open it the morning of the wedding my husband gave my present to my friend and I gave his to a friend and they gave us them the night before the wedding and we opened them that night. The reason we gave to friends is we didn't stay together the night before and we knew that our friends would see each other that night before

It's normally bridal and grooms party as well as mums / parents and whoever helped with wedding of you want to say a thank you to them. Don't stress to much about it. Just maybe a card and little something to let them know you appreciate them x

We gave presents to parents, bridesmaids, best men, ushers, flower girls and page boy. Flowers for the mums, cufflinks for the men, bracelets for the bridesmaids, flower girls had little mice ornaments that had dresses like their's and the page boy had a car shaped silver money box with his name and our wedding date engraved on it x
