I would say go for it. Most of my friends have used vista print and they looked really nice. I think it really just depends on the design you choose. I am going to use them too.

We used wedding paper divas for our save the dates and thankyou cards but used vista print for our invitations and I was really happy with them, they didn't look cheap at all.

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

Got mine from them at first, but regret. The sample pack they can send you to show you the papers do not include a special wedding package, meaning you only see business related papers. My invitations looked nothing like I expected (I used gold as a colour, and the effect on the paper was horrible). If you don't want anything too shiny, they might be just the right thing for you. In the end, they refunded me, I made my invitations and printed with printed.com. But yep, Vistaprint have amazing price and quality, without doubt.

Definitely recommend vistaprint. We ordered all of our invites from them. Came within 4 days and are perfect. Little tip...ring them before clicking the button and ask for a promo code. We got 60% off!

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

I did my invites on Vistaprint and had no complaints. I did the design myself from a photo that we had taken and they came out really well.

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

Yes I would have done that except I'm going for the ones from McMillan cancer care as my mum died from cancer and it's a way to include her in the wedding, also I'm getting the place names, thank you cards and children's packs from there also.

We have done our save the dates with vistaprint. We paid the extra for linen finish card and colour on both sides. They are exactly what we expected. Simple but pretty and don't look cheap. 70 cost us around £50 so will be getting the matching invites done when the time comes.

I used this company... I don't know how much vista print charge but I'm sure when I looked it was more expensive that my lady! Hers start from
£1 each she'll design whatever you want in whatever colour she's brilliant!

We used vista print and got around 60 folded day time invites, 100 flat evening invites, place cards envelopes and stickers to seal envelopes for under £100.
You need to watch though as it doesn't have a spell check and we spotted when they arrived we'd missed the R in Saturday so had to reorder! X

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

What quality of paper did everyone use? Also how did you find matching save the dates, invites, evening invites and thank you card? Thanks!

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

Screw looking cheap! If you're on a budget, don't spend loads on bloody invites. Honestly, I'm thinking about sending a text or an email, or creating an event on facebook couldn't care less if people stick there nose up at it. We've got better things to spend our money on xx

Printed my own on kraft brown card, put a stamp in bottom corners for both Save The Dates and Invites so they would match. Both of them were A5. Printed Evening invites on same brown kraft card but in postcard size. Job lot cost me less then £20, including basic manilla envelopes 50 A5 and 50 A6 plus postage.

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

Yep. Got my invites, order of service and place names from there. I wouldn't call them luxury but when you're on a tight budget like us they do the job & they all match. I added a few nail gems I bought for 80p off ebay for a bit of sparkle and they look lovely!

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

We got ours from planet cards! So many different designs to choose from.
They are little bit more expensive than vista print but worth it!
You can also order a personalised sample as well

We used Vistaprint and they came out beautifully - we got loads of compliments on how nice they were! We didn't even pay extra for a special finish, just used standard. They always have special offers on so worth looking for online codes. There are loads of nice templates to choose from and you can personalise & tweak it to your hearts content.

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

I used vistaprint, wasn't necessarily cheaper than doing them myself but certainly cheaper than using a wedding invite company. I didn't want fussy invites- would sooner spend money on more wine for guests etc- and let's be honest people chuck them away any way. You could probably find a company like vistaprint but cheaper as well x

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017
