Not paying for new shoes. Planning on wearing my flower girl shoes from my cousins wedding saves me a bit of money!

It is really up to you how much you wish to spend. I personally paid £40 and I was really happy with my shoes. I bought mine from Dune. :-)

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

I payed £200 for mine and only wore them for the church and reception drinks then changed to my boots for outside pictures and were so comfy I kept them on. Had a flip flop basket too which I used later on so I say it's not worth it I payed all that money for an hour or so and they have never seen the light of day since. Xxx

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

Let's be real, we only end up taking them off and dragging our dress around for the majority of the day.
Try not to focus too much on the shoes because it's not worth it x

I have spent £60 on a pair of Ruby Shoo shoes - they are stunning

UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

Total personal choice flower :) I spent £430 on mine one pair £80 on another then £75 on bridesmaid and my hubby spent £230 on his. Think £30 on shoes you may not even see if that's what you feel is lovely. Some of my fav shoes were a steal :) . I have a pair of new look boots I've mended that many times not sure they are the same boots lol xxx

I spent about £30 on them but took them off as soon as photos were done and changed into £2 primark slippers danced the night away after that!

I had Irregular Choice shoes that were about £90 I think. Wore them first when we got married and I think I've worn them another five times or so since. Depends on your budget and whether you'll be wearing them again :)

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

I spent £200 but they will be my "something blue" and also going to be a focal point of pics aswell, they look amazing

UKbride Administrator

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

I bought these little beauties and the matching bag from Dune at a very reasonable price! Purposely bought something that I could easily wear again! Spent the most of the day in the cool pink, sparkly Birkenstocks my hubby sent me the night before though! Xxx

I wanted dark green shoes.. ended up finding them in clarks.. £75 down to £22.50 and they are the comfiest heels ever worn! Many times since the wedding too

Find the shoes you like then see if you can settle with the price- if yes, get them, if not keeping searching. X

I'm getting Jimmy Choos. Only getting married once and I'm getting them in nude so I can wear them again.
Always wanted a pair so I've saved, why not?
If i didn't have my heart set on them it'd be my comfiest pair of heels in my shoe box :)

I also went for Jimmy Choos with the attitude of you are only married once, but made sure I got a pair that I would wear again. I am obsessed with my shoes I bought and to be fair probably hardly anyone will see them under my dress but I'm In love with them :) if it wasn't for them though i would have aimed for comfort over everything else.

I got mine from Debenhams and they were reduced so only cost £20 :) But it is your choice!

As much or as little as you like! I was originally going to have blue Louboutin heels as my 50s style dress was £50 but they were discontinued before I could get them. Instead had a brand new pair of Carvella heels fom eBay for £30 :-) They've been worn to multiple weddings since!

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

Getting mine hand painted as I want some special and unique...probably around £150, but I also need the shoes themselves, so I'll get them from a bridal salon I think.x.

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

Mine are from quiz and were £20 in the sale. I'm most comfortable in platform and block heel shoes so that's what I went for. My maid of honour said they are vile I love them and would wear them again. I was going to have a pretty dainty pair of shoes for the day but it's just not me and in all fairness no one will see them under my dress

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

I paid £150 well my mom did, imported from America

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 16 Aug 2017

I got from from BHS for £14.99 (closing down price yes...) and they were beautiful and pretty comfortable. I did take them off and put my sandals on for dancing though! Get something that you love and are comfortable in - don't get expensive shoes just for the sake of it. At the end of the day its your feet and you'll know what feels best.

I wore blue shoes electric blue and was hard to find but found a pair in the end and I will wear them again so £50 well spent I think lol

UK Bride Member 16 Aug 2017

I'm hoping to spend no more than £30. Not wearing heels, so sure I can find something for a decent price :)

It comes down to budget and priorities.. Mine cost £20 they were in the sale, they are really nice and a bit more practical as I don't want sore feet all day lol. Plus like you said you only wear for a few hours plus depending on your dress you wont see much of them.

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 18 Aug 2017

I bought a pair of Rainbow shoes. £75 & they dye them after your wedding for free! So it's sort of 2 pairs for the price of 1! Also, they're the most comfy heels I've ever bought! Can't wait to have them fuschia pink after our wedding!

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 18 Aug 2017

I bought rainbow club shoes. Cost about £90 but we're super comfy and after the wedding you can send them off to be dyed any colour you want ( I am going for black ) so you get to wear them again and again
