how much is best to spend on wedding shoes? don't want to go over the top since they'll be worn for few hours
£50 converse
Mine were from a wedding brand in TK Maxx £15
i spent £30 on mine but i wore them for a night out before the wedding and have worn them a lot since. they are my favourite little heels lol
I only paid £30 for mine and they were stunning. Check out Simmi London their shoes are amazing x
30 I paid, took them off after photos and switched to converse (it's not like anyone can see them)
I got mine in the sale from misguided for £4 x
Not paying for new shoes. Planning on wearing my flower girl shoes from my cousins wedding saves me a bit of money!
It is really up to you how much you wish to spend. I personally paid £40 and I was really happy with my shoes. I bought mine from Dune. :-)
I spent 80 but they were stunning!!
It's up to you, what you budget is, and how important the shoes are to you.
I think mine were £30 and ive worn them since
I'm spending 10 on mine
I payed £200 for mine and only wore them for the church and reception drinks then changed to my boots for outside pictures and were so comfy I kept them on. Had a flip flop basket too which I used later on so I say it's not worth it I payed all that money for an hour or so and they have never seen the light of day since. Xxx
Let's be real, we only end up taking them off and dragging our dress around for the majority of the day.
Try not to focus too much on the shoes because it's not worth it x
I have spent £60 on a pair of Ruby Shoo shoes - they are stunning
Total personal choice flower :) I spent £430 on mine one pair £80 on another then £75 on bridesmaid and my hubby spent £230 on his. Think £30 on shoes you may not even see if that's what you feel is lovely. Some of my fav shoes were a steal :) . I have a pair of new look boots I've mended that many times not sure they are the same boots lol xxx
I spent about £30 on them but took them off as soon as photos were done and changed into £2 primark slippers danced the night away after that!
Got mine for £20 on eBay!
£18 quid for a 'normal' shoe style which were comfortable and red! Able to wear them again and again but will always know they are my wedding shoes.
£32 from eBay xx
I had Irregular Choice shoes that were about £90 I think. Wore them first when we got married and I think I've worn them another five times or so since. Depends on your budget and whether you'll be wearing them again :)
I spent £200 but they will be my "something blue" and also going to be a focal point of pics aswell, they look amazing
I bought some of asos. Used a friends staff discount and got them for 12.80 some gorgeous sparkly flats x
I bought these little beauties and the matching bag from Dune at a very reasonable price! Purposely bought something that I could easily wear again! Spent the most of the day in the cool pink, sparkly Birkenstocks my hubby sent me the night before though! Xxx
I spent £80 on mine...irregular choice shoes but I will wear them again...if i hadn't found ones I would wear again I would probably paid about £40
I wanted dark green shoes.. ended up finding them in clarks.. £75 down to £22.50 and they are the comfiest heels ever worn! Many times since the wedding too
Find the shoes you like then see if you can settle with the price- if yes, get them, if not keeping searching. X
I'm getting Jimmy Choos. Only getting married once and I'm getting them in nude so I can wear them again.
Always wanted a pair so I've saved, why not?
If i didn't have my heart set on them it'd be my comfiest pair of heels in my shoe box :)
I spent £25 for mine on eBay
I'd recommend shuwish website xx
Because my theme is purple im havin purple shoes they are arong 26 quid but i know ill wear them again so i dont mind xx
I got my shoes from a charity shop for £25 you could tell they had only been worn a couple of times and indoors as the soles weren't scuffed
I paid £50 for mine but my dress is shorter so they will be seen. I love them though. Can't wait to wear them
I also went for Jimmy Choos with the attitude of you are only married once, but made sure I got a pair that I would wear again. I am obsessed with my shoes I bought and to be fair probably hardly anyone will see them under my dress but I'm In love with them :) if it wasn't for them though i would have aimed for comfort over everything else.
I got mine from Debenhams and they were reduced so only cost £20 :) But it is your choice!
I paid £50 for my shoes
As much or as little as you like! I was originally going to have blue Louboutin heels as my 50s style dress was £50 but they were discontinued before I could get them. Instead had a brand new pair of Carvella heels fom eBay for £30 :-) They've been worn to multiple weddings since!
I got my from eBay they were £15 but are beautiful and so comfortable
Check out Rainbow club. They offer a dyed to match service on many styles for you lovely brides to be
Getting mine hand painted as I want some special and unique...probably around £150, but I also need the shoes themselves, so I'll get them from a bridal salon I think.x.
Mine are from quiz and were £20 in the sale. I'm most comfortable in platform and block heel shoes so that's what I went for. My maid of honour said they are vile I love them and would wear them again. I was going to have a pretty dainty pair of shoes for the day but it's just not me and in all fairness no one will see them under my dress
I paid £150 well my mom did, imported from America
I got from from BHS for £14.99 (closing down price yes...) and they were beautiful and pretty comfortable. I did take them off and put my sandals on for dancing though! Get something that you love and are comfortable in - don't get expensive shoes just for the sake of it. At the end of the day its your feet and you'll know what feels best.
thanks lovelys! I would usually spend a fortune on them but I think if there only to be worn for few hours its bit of a waste and I couldn't wear them again id probs keeps them in there box haha
I spent a lot on mine but I don't intend on wearing them for just one day. I love shoes so I've bought a pair of Charlotte Mills that are glittery and would wear again.
Mine were £10 from new look then my sister decorated them in star wars paper
I paid £50 for mine but thought £30 would be plenty I only ended up paying £50 cause they wasn't wedding shoes wasn't paying the price out on them as they would only be worn once... I wore blue shoes electric blue and was hard to find but found a pair in the end and I will wear them again so £50 well spent I think lol
I'm hoping to spend no more than £30. Not wearing heels, so sure I can find something for a decent price :)
I'm pretty sure I didn't spend that much on mine haha they might of been about £50 I think I got them in the sales
I love Quiz shoes because they have a low heel and since breaking my leg and ankle .I can't wear high heels I have got a pair for £24 . I know I will be able to wear them day and night and I will wear them again and again .
£35 on a pair of TOMS. Not a heel girl so wasn't going to be someone I'm not on my wedding. They are so comfy & match my dress. X
Mine were about a tenner in the New Look sale - have very wide feet and New Look do a good range of wide high heels .
I think it's personal choice. I had always said I would not spend a fortune on shoes but I fell in love with a pair by Charlotte Mills, they were hot pink and cost £265 but I loved them. X
These are mine. Cost me £79 but worth it as they are so comfy... x
£10 brand new eBay
January sales ....got mine for £30 .....
Debut at debenhams have some simple pretty ones. 30 odd x
I paid £11 in the sale from BHS. Could have got them cheaper when they were closing. In contrast, my Mom is paying £95 for her MOB shoes
Mine we 5 pound from ebay should have been 70 from next they have never been worn i love a bargain
I spent less on my shoes than I did on my bridesmaids shoes they cost 28 pound I love them and no one will see them
I wore white converse on my wedding day and I wore them after till they pretty much fell off my feet
Mine are going to be my something old. I have a lovely comfortable pair of white shoes that I havn't worn much so decided not to buy new ones.
Mike were 12 quod off Amazon. Ivory satin with a small heel. Very comfortable, got absolutely trashed while taking photos and went in the bin afterwards. I didn't care because I had already had my money's worth. X
These are my daughter's dance shoes but she's having same in ivory for wedding. Buy15ml bottle of GemTac glue, a wax picker pencil & some rhinestones and sparkle up your shoes. Will look expensive but cost a few £s
I can give links if needed.
We went for comfort, I wore white skechers and hubby wore a pair a boots he already owned.
I'm having boots not shoes as I want something comfortable and practical they are around £75 but I will wear them again and I know I can keep them on all day as I live in boots!
£28 from Debenhams and I will wear them again
My friend worn flip flops
Hello not sure if allowed to say websites but shoeaholics.com is amazing it's late season designer shoes at amazing prices. The shoes I paid £90 for are on there for £30 - worth a look 👀
I've budgeted £50 x
Think with shoes you better of sticking at comfort rather than price as u going to be in them most of the day but if you ate going for heels remember to take the lenght of you dress in mine good luck
Ever since I was little girl I have only dreamt of my wedding shoes. For me my shoes are more important than my dress. I will therefore be getting an expensive designer pair
Rainbow club are really nice and padded. Lots on eBay for a fraction of the price in shops.
i had custom made converse with a picture of my mum and grandad on, sadly both died 6 months apart in 2013. cost me £60
I got flats n still had them off as soon as got out the church so had them on no longer then a hour
I have 2 pairs - around £50-£60 each
I've budgeted £100 but hope to find something much cheaper!
It comes down to budget and priorities.. Mine cost £20 they were in the sale, they are really nice and a bit more practical as I don't want sore feet all day lol. Plus like you said you only wear for a few hours plus depending on your dress you wont see much of them.
I bought a pair of Rainbow shoes. £75 & they dye them after your wedding for free! So it's sort of 2 pairs for the price of 1! Also, they're the most comfy heels I've ever bought! Can't wait to have them fuschia pink after our wedding!
I bought rainbow club shoes. Cost about £90 but we're super comfy and after the wedding you can send them off to be dyed any colour you want ( I am going for black ) so you get to wear them again and again
