Hi. I'm planning to have petals at the side of the aisle. However, I much prefer them scattered all over the aisle like the image below but am worried that when I walk over them with my dress, I'll drag them all up to the front and it'll just look all messy. Has anyone done this and could offer advice, please?

This is too many and would drag with your dress, I also think it looks too much just a few scattered along looks good and won't really drag with you. Think less is more. Not sure what a venue would think of that many

It's one of those ideas that looks amazing but in reality wouldn't pay off - pretty much like every crafty thing I've tried to do from Pinterest. I would scatter a few petals (it'll be much cheaper too)!

Why not put them just down the sides of the aisle but remember that unless guests have another way of herring to seats they will knock them about

You can buy runners that have the petals stitched to them... here's an example

I wanted petals down the aisle too but my florist said even the dried petals they can't ever fully guarantee they won't run on your dress - so if you're in white/ivory it could make a mess x

I was just about to say you can buy flower covered runners if you really wanted a full flower aisle

We had petals and crystals that my daughter had scattered and my dress dragged EVERYTHING with it, all day I was leaving trails of crystals and petals that I had underneath my dress
