Is anybody planning on doing a printed running order of the day for their guests? for example, meal, first dance, cake cutting, evening buffet etc?
We will be doing. We're not having an order of service so will be doing an order of the day instead.
I think it's a good idea but having just got married on Wednesday I will say it doesn't always go to plan. We we're meant to be at the hotel at 12:30 but didn't get there until gone 1, our first dance was suppose to be at 7:45 but was about 8:30. We just went with the flow xx
I have put 1 in my invites. It's only a rough idea, I thoroughly expect to go off it. ️
I did a scroll (We had a castle wedding) with a wax seal and details of of running of the day. Xc
It might be a good idea to do a general order of events, but don't put times so there's less pressure to keep to them x
I think most people have a rough idea of the timing of these things, I won't bother.
We did one in our order of service
I think I'm just going to do a chalk board with an order of the day on it and I'll have it where we do the drinks ceremony x
We didn't do one. We just told our photographer rough timings of our day only us, venue and photographer knew rough timings
Yes I am
Im doing a timeline on the back page of my order of service.
We didn't as our band was a secret and the third Dance was a secret as we had optimus prime and the bridal party doing a dance and none of the guests knew
I am going to do one board. So people can see this during the drinks reception
I plan on printing little cards and putting them on the chairs. In a church you'd get an order of service so because it's a civil ceremony I want an order of the day x
Me and my sister are making them more her than me as I not crafty at all
