We are getting married in 2020 but are buying bits and bobs as we go along to make centrepieces etc. has anyone got any that they had with no flowers or candles in them for inspiration? Or are there any ideas for table layout that don't need centrepieces?

These DIY lights in a jar are what we are using for our renewal of vows. As table pieces. We love them. They are just so simple but beautiful. Might be an idea

these were ours (had different pastel colours for our theme so each table was a different colour) we had milk bottle decorated in pastel coloured string to hold names of tables, little painted jars with twigs in to but favours on for each table and lace jars to hold battery operates lights for the evening:) cake stands were used to hold some food on as we had afternoon tea x

I'm using beads, jewels and feathers to scatter on my tables and little sequin masks 🎭 as we're having a masquerade themed wedding 🙂

Could go along with a theme - I've seen disney/movie themes, music themes, period eras. military etc. Each table was then a 'topic' from said theme and the centre pieces were revelant to that.

We're personally having 'trees' on stumps with flowers up the trunk as our center pieces, with candles decorated with the animal that table is named after as part of a woodland theme

Really anything decorative works, what sort of thing do you have in your house? Origami, sculptures, metalwork, pictures of cats and ducklings, just anything you like the look of. If you have the budget you could have 3D models of yourself and h2b doing things you're known for or little water features. Ours is afternoon tea so the vintage crockery cake stands will be the centre pieces, and I'll just scatter flowers around them.
