How do you go about getting quotes from different florists. I'm worried about choosing all my flowers and arrangements, getting a quote from them, taking up their time and then leaving without booking them. Or is this normal to try different florists? Thanks in advance.
I'm not sure but don't see why not. I'm only using a particular florist because I always use them but if I didn't I do think I would go for a few quotes x
Hi go ahead and get a few quotes then you will have a better idea of costs :)
As a florist, we don't mind people getting quotes. If you order though we ask for a non refundable deposit so bear this in mind and make sure you chose carefully. Don't always go for the cheapest. A good florist will be worth the extra.
Just ring up with your requirements bride bridesmaids button holes
Also top table flowers if needed and ask how much a quote for them
It's completely normal to get a few quotes. Florist understands that it's expensive and you need to make sure that you feel like you're getting value for money with what you buy. Congrats and good luck
Email them then your not actually going in
I have popped into a couple of florists. I knew exactly what I wanted and a couple managed to see me there and then as they weren't busy...a couple I had to male appointments with. You should have a free consultation with no obligation!
A lot of florists have a 'starting from' price list for the different types of bouquet / buttonholes / etc that you want which will help give you a rough idea x
Coming from a former florist....
I used to expect people to come in for a quote ... but just make it sure at the beginning... eg.
hi im looking for a quote for the cost of wedding flowers... take in a photo of something siilar to what you want ... if you have a color scheme take a piece of fabric for the florist to color match your flowers etc... and then they can give you a good clear estimate for what you want... it was very rare that a bride agreed on the spot to wanting their flowers from us immediately...
