Ok so I really need some advice. I have found THE ONE today in wed2b but I know that I can't get the dress yet as the wedding is 2 years away. I'm really worried that the dress will go and never come back again because I was told that once it's gone it's gone and they don't order the dress again in that size or style. This is the dress I want. Does anyone know if this is true or not about them not ordering dresses in once they are gone? Thanks

Why can't you get it now if it's the one? I'm going to look at end of month and my weddings 2020. If I find the one I'm having it x

I bought mine 2 years before my wedding as I knew it was 'The One'

Wed2be is like that, that's why there dresses are cheaper xxxx

Get it now, don't see why not unless you think you're tastes will change? Good motivation to stay the same size as well!

Get it now. I got my dress Nov 2016 and I get married in a year. Still love it!

I don't know how Wed2B works but its perfectly ok if you have already found your dress. That's ok to save it for 2 years. However, if you decide to get a dress, stop looking. Don't look at other dresses or you'll find something else that you like and then regret your first choice. It's my firm belief that there is never just one dress for someone. So even if this one does go, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy looking at more dresses and find another one you love. Don't be pressured into buying out of fear, only buy if you know it's objectively the right decision. It sounds like you may not be ready to make the decision so keep looking.

I think that is right for wed to be as I got my dress from there too and they are off the rack so will only get a certain amount of a style and when I wanted a smaller size of mine I had to ring around over wed 2 be's and get it sent as they don't make to order xx

If it's the one for you then buy it !! I bought mine from there , by the time I get married in may I'll have had it 2 yrs and I love it

UKbride Administrator 13 Aug 2017

Why can't you get it?? We were engaged 3 years and 1 month and guess how long I had my dress?? I got it a month after we got engaged so I had it 3 years before we walked down the aisle. When you find the dress no other is going to compare i tried on other dresses after I got mine and none of them felt right compared to mine

UKbride Administrator 13 Aug 2017

They dont get the same stock in! I got my dress from there!! I would get it, if you find nearer the time you dont like it you can sell it. Thats the beauty of Wed2be its cheaper then most shops so you can buy two dresses probably for the price of one!! . Its a stunning dress!! So id go for it!! Xxx

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 13 Aug 2017

Yes once they are in wed2b it tends to be end of line stock or samples so buy it and find someone to alter it nearer the time x

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 13 Aug 2017

I was told the same in a store I went to! They said if they discontinue it I'll never be able to get it. I left it a few months and ordered it from another store that stocked that designer!

Just buy the dress. Now.

Louise Tate

Get it now. I bought my dress in 2015 cause it was being discontinued, they only had size 12 as the display dress left and whilst I knew I was over that size I knew I would slim down to fit it (only need to loose a few inches). My wedding should have been this year but we had to postpone. But I am so happy knowing that no dress will come close and when we can get round to marrying it's there waiting for me. if you truly feel it's the one, snap it up! You won't regret it. X

Wed2b dresses are one offs. They only get a size of whatever dress. My neice got hers from there. U buy it and take it home the same day. Only thing then is finding someone to do any alterations. I however got my dress from a bridal shop in Feb and don't get married until nxt August. Good luck Xx

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 13 Aug 2017

I purchased one from wed2be and I had the last dress in that size and in that style as it was being changed to a new range. Get it now whilst you can as it may well be end of season stock, if you love it then get it. They also used my final wedding picture for some promotions if you love it then get it just in case!

Vicky Gillis

Yes, it's true. Wed 2 be are an outlet store so only have one or two of a style in. Snd that 's it. That is why they are a fraction of the cost of standard wedding dress shops. I bought my dress from wed2be in oct 2015 and only married in june this year. I just hid it from my otger half.

Buy it! I bought mine two years before my wedding and it was the best decision ever! I was so happy in my dress on the day AND to top it off it made costs more manageable as it was a cost that was already covered waaaaay before the wedding and all the hidden extras that you forget about before the day. Go for it and enjoy it xx

I went "window" wedding dress shopping 1 month after being engaged. We hadn't even booked our wedding! I found the one without intending too, and it was in the sale, so brought it! We get married in October this year, 21 months after buying the dress! It was an opportunity I couldn't miss and I knew it was my dress. I still love it too! Go for it! It's true. I Found my dress in there 2 years ago. Went back in last summer and they literally had two sizes left in the country of my dress... lucky for me one was my size. I bought it that day and have had it hanging in my house since. I get married in 8 months. I tried on other dresses at other boutiques and they weren't the same. I'd suggest you buy now and store it somewhere safe. Maybe get a dress box and have in the bottoms of your wardrobe!?! Best part is being able to look at the dress whenever I want

I went dress shopping before we had set a date, found the one but didn't buy it. We get married in 12 days and ive had to settle for a different dress because my original one has been discontinued for so long(I do love my new dress, but still think of the old one!). My sister got in touch with the designers, rang every shop in the UK who stocked it and no one had it if it's the one buy it now, trust me! X

I purchased mines from wed2b Viva Bride 'maddie' and they hadn't had it in on delivery in Glasgow for over 9months prior to the day I went! (- I wasn't looking for that dress it was just by chance i tried it on)

I got mine over 2 years before because I went to try on dresses for fun and to see what suited me & I fell in love with it! I got it from a charity wedding dress shop & it was £50 & an unusual dress I knew I wouldn't find again. I walked away from the shop and had to go back! I get married October 2018 but I found the one so I had to buy it because they told me that there's a chance they would never get the dress in again!

Get the dress!! I got mine 1.5 years years ago and I get married in 4 weeks!it's still as beautiful as I remember! They are correct in what they say once the dresses are gone they can't guarantee they will get another In that size x x x

I got my wedding dress nearly 2years before I got married! It was the one and I never looked at another dress the same way! If I wouldn't have brought my dress I'd have been devastated on my wedding day. My dress was perfect! I'd defo buy it now or you willl just try and compare other dresses to it and never find the right one!

I got my dress from wed2b... went to see what would suit me and fell in love 4 years before our date, I left the shop and then had to go back later that day as I knew it was 'the' dress... people laughed at me for buying so far in advance, but I don't care as I know I'll be getting married in the dress of my dreams. I've been back with my sister too, and they've never had another of my dress in my size since the initial delivery... we've moved our wedding forward a year and I'm so glad the dress shopping is done, I'd be running around like a headless chicken if it weren't!
