Wedding dress dilemma I have no idea where to start!! I wanted something...

Wedding dress dilemma I have no idea where to start!! I wanted something plainish pretty and floaty not massively expensive as its just a dress, not princess as I'm not a girly girl. I hate the fishtail look and the figure hugging look. Any trusted online stores? Urgh this wedding milarky is hard! We have booked liskeard registry and are having beach pics and a lovely meal at the bowgie inn crantock. Getting married in cornwall obvs, June next year 2018 ????????

Try Debenhams.com. I didn't want a meringue or marshmallow dress or a train or all the fuss. I wanted something simple and floaty and I found it there. I bought the Debut 'Honesty' from there at £300 (and got 10% off by going to voucher.co.uk and picking one up there)

Ohhh Lisa - I know the feeling!!! My recommendation is... set a budget. How much do you want to spend, how much will you spend if you find the perfect one? I know its boring to think about cash, but it helped me and I going to get married to a cornish man i october ;)

I went with a picture in my head of what I wanted and what I thought suited me but tried all different shapes and sizes and what I thought suited me was nothing like I have chosen

I've gone completely opposite to what I thought I wanted. My advice would be to book a couple of appointments with bridal shops and try on the different styles even ones that you don't think you would like and you will soon find what styles suit you best x

I'm selling one you're welcome to PM me about it? Plain-ish with some detail at the top, lovely, and a bit floaty too (depending if you want hoop underneath or not).

Be careful buying of the internet as you may not get what you wanted. My local wedding dress shop had a sale department my dress should have been 1000 but I got it for 399.
My only advice is try different styles im not girly at all live in jods and what I thought I wanted turn out to be the complete opposite. I didn't even really like my dress on the hanger but I once on I didn't want to take it off xxxx

£229 from Monsoon. Floaty for a beach; plainish so not too 'princessy' but just enough of that something special to make it special....

I got my dress from coastal bridal in mevagissey. I got it off the rail at a bridal show at the royal showground half price, and having it altered. They were properly helpful, gave lots of advice and not pushy. Would definitely recommend them

Breathe! The more stressed you are now, the worse the wedding day will be! I've organised everything and I had no idea where to start, once the basics are sorted, everything else seems to fall into place. Try getting a wedding dress shop local to you preferably with good recommendations. They have sales on too. I bought mine as a sample sale and it's beautiful. Try a variety on, ones that you can't even imagine yourself in! You'll be very surprised that it's the one you least expect which is the one! I've never liked dresses, as I've never been a girly girl either, but trust me, your wedding dress is totally different! We get married next April. Good luck!

Definitely go into some boutiques and try some styles on, ideas which I had were drastically turned on their heads when I actually tried dresses on! Then if you're trying to save money and want to purchase it online, at least you'll be confident that the style which you buy will actually suit you xxx

A lot of local bridal shops will have sales running at this time of year as they get 2018 stock moving in - you could always book an appointment with them with a budget in mind. Try on everything and communicate what you're feeling. A good store shouldn't pressure you to buy :)
