I got engaged few days before my 19th birthday and I'm going to be 20 next month on the 15th September ... Am I too young to go to a wedding dress shop/ boutique, I don't want to walk in and people think I'm joking around being immature ... thoughts ? x

How can you be too young. You are engaged to be married, you have to buy a dress somewhere! My only comment would be don't go too early as styles and your tastes change a lot so maybe wait until 18 - 12 months before the big day x
I'm sure they see a lot of young brides, enjoy shopping x
I can understand your concern but if they talk down to you they are not the shop you wish to use. Go and enjoy getting your ideas although I agree with Emily V when she says your tastes may change so don't be too hasty.
Having worked as a bridalwear stylist as one of my many, many temp jobs in the past don't worry about your age - about half of the brides we saw were mid-20s to mid-30s, with the rest being fairly equally spread either side of that bracket.
if they talk down to you leave, I looked at wedding dressed few years back and got talked down by a snobby shop find a shop that will talk to you like they talk to everyone :)
