Good thing or bad thing?! We went to see our venue again today after they invited us back to look round to double check we still wanted the venue after the update in décor. The new colours are sliver/grey, cream and red. Our colour scheme for the wedding is sliver, ivory and light pink. We wanted balloons over the dance floor with curling ribbon hanging down but unsure what colour to do or if to do a mixture. Don't want too much of one colour with the décor being so close to our colour scheme. Also would the balloon thing look tacky? Is it more a teenage prom thing?
Hi I would do the balloons in your colour scheme :)
But then red and pink clash 🙈 so many places that we looked at had awful colour decor, like red or green carpets.
Do the pink balloons for sure :) your having the same colour scheme as i had i loved it, the venue at the time had yellow everywhere so i got them to put white drapes over the curtains so it didnt look so bad and no one else even noticed just i hated them ha! Xx
Black... white and pink balloons would go.. and break up both colour schemes but also go with both.
I did the balloon thing in my colour scheme which was purple, silver and ivory. The balloons are nicer than the confetti xx
It's pretty good your colours won't clash as much as some venues (greens blues and other patterned wallpapers). Try and get s pink to really go with the red and if in doubt use white and silver balloons with smaller pink accents
Personally I'd never put red and pink together so if you can't change venue you might want to think about colour scheme! Also (again person al) but think balloons are a bit dated, have you considered the hanging lantern balls? X
If you like balloons you should have them ..it's your wedding ...I refused balloons as personally yes I find them tacky ...but each to their own x
Go for it! Personally I stayed away from balloons as I find them abit tacky - more suited to birthdays, proms, etc- try different shades of a lighter pink to compliment the red x
I don't like balloons unless they confetti balloons
