I'm extremely pale but would like a little colour for the day but not something that's going to come off on my dress. I won't do dinners so really needs to be a fake tan

Hi there are plenty of self tanning products the staff in the chemists are always on hand to help :)

I used Skinny Tan 7 Day Tanner (Medium) on my wedding day. I swear by this fake tan! Apply with a mit for no streaks. I prefer the cream to the mousse.
Great colour, no streaks, no horrible smell and it didn't come off on my dress.
Should note - I got married abroad, so was very hot, and still no marks on my dress.

About ten years ago vaseline released a gradual self tanning moisturiser that didn't stain and looked the most natural. Need to use for a three or four days before. But I'd recommend experimenting with it way in advance as some areas of skin can be more absorbent and need less attention

I'm using this gradual daily tan I've had for ages. I've never really liked fake tans and again don't want it on my dress, I just want a bit of a glow. Maybe try that.

I had a spray tan for my friends wedding. Just to add a bit of a glow for the photos. Think it was fake bake. Was really good. I'm next to the bride x

I'm a beauty therapist. What ever fake tan you use will come off on your dress. Sunbeds or sunshine is the only option

San tropez have it done about three days before so doesn't come off on your dress it tones to what your skin would naturally tan to so if you won't look orange x

I used Garnier gradual tanner 2 weeks prior and it worked well! Just remember to watch your elbows knuckles and knees with any tan!!

Avon do a dry oil spray with a touch of tan in. It's the only one I've found that doesn't streak or make you look orange. ( and by Christ over the years Ive tried all sorts cheap and expensive ).
Just give yourself a good even spray, don't even need to rub it in. X

St Tropez medium in shower gradual tan. Use 4-5 times before and leave it on for 4-5 mins instead of 3. No streaks at all! Xx

For anyone considering a sunbed id advise you to listen. I wanted to share my story with you, I shared it a while back regarding sunbeds but this is just as relevant. My daughter died from skin cancer at 23 years old. She refused to use suncream as she got older and she used sun beds maybe once every two weeks depending. A mole appeared on her face when she was 19 and after having it removed and being left with a large scar because it was deep, was the worst thing that could happen to her, in her words. It was then sent off for tests and it came back that it was cancer. After all the treatments, awful sickness and red raw peeling face and skin, she went in to remission but only 10 months later it returned and this time had spread to her pancreas.i cannot fathom the ignorance of people who want to go on sun beds and will believe any lie because theyd rather not believe the truth. If my daughter had carried on with suncream and never gone on those beds she may have still been alive today.

I am beyond pale and I had a st tropez spray tan as it is nice and light, I used Driclor roll on deodorant for excess sweating to stop it transferring onto my dress! It was great no tan on the dress

There is a spray tan called LAEX which is a clear solution and doesn't come off on clothes. You would need to check for a local spray tan place the does these type of tans though x
