Hi! I'm getting married in three months. Everything was coming together really nicely, we are getting married at the registry office and then having a party. But... we found this amazing little church that we looove and want to change. Has anyone done something like this before? Is it possible to do that? Thank you!!!

You would need to speak to the vicar at the church to see if it is possible x

You should be able too. We had to cancel our original venue about 11 months before, but lost the deposit on it so just check with them about cancelling.

It would depend on whether you had any links to that church. Also the vicar may be reluctant as you are getting married in 3 months, and the banns need to be read within the 3 months of marriage.

I'm getting married in 25 days we had to go on a Marraige course before hand and do wedding banns at least 30 days before the big day plus if your not known to the church I doubt the priest will do it

I think you would need to give notice again.

When I give notice they said I can't change venue but I can change the date very slightly. It may vary to each borough though.

But if it's what you want go for it x

If you have no links to the church (e.g. living in the parish) you need to attend regularly for at least 6 months usually to be able to wed there.

Good luck, I hope it works out for you x
