The best place for wedding insurance? We have book and paid for a lot of things but because our wedding is a while off yet am getting nervous as a lot can happen in that time. I've looked online but there is sooooo many to choose from! Does anyone have any recommendations please?

There was a similar post the other day as I had the same question. Most people advised Debenhams. Which is what I'll be getting as a result of all the positive reviews

I went with Debenhams, cheap and cheerful, one off payment and has different covers you can choose from 😀

Debenhams!!! we recently claimed for a company that went bust - full refund (despite making the booking in December and not taking out the insurance until February).

Debenhams - they have different levels of cover depending on how much your spending so you can chose which suits you best. Plus you get a gift card for buying it.

We went with John Lewis as covered you for a lot of things you wouldn't think of. And had different levels and you can change level at any time x

I've gone with John Lewis. I've heard good things about both John Lewis and Debenhams. Whatever you do, make sure you check for deals and cash back websites. I think I got £20 or so cash back through Quidco for John Lewis

We will be going with Debenhams

Debenhams because you're covered for things you booked before taking out insurance cover (unless you were already having issues with them)

Id also recommend Debenhams, as the different levels off cover is great. And the gift card is and added bonus.

Debenhams

Some companies will only pay out and cover things purchased whilst the policy is in place, so check for this because if you've booked everything it might not be covered anyway!

We are using John Lewis but cannot start using them until next year!! Only because we've had to move our wedding to 2020 due to our council and registrars. We're going for the £60 option and covers around £10,000 for venue and then £5,000 for other stuff. Xx

My friend used John Lewis. Her caterers cancelled a week beforehand and they compensated and paid for a new one.
