How is everyone getting on with naming tables? I'm thinking of having the table numbers on giant cards and then having a few packs of cards on each table.. 1 table being called snap, scabby queen, pontoon etc and encouraging people to play these games with their table while waiting for food.. Trying to have something quirky and different..
Have you heard of a snaplist? It's a great way to get people up and around and basically, you put disposable cameras somewhere in the room (I'd suggest on your tables) along with a list of things for people to take a picture of. It's a great way to get extra shots of your wedding if your photographer won't be there and it's also a great way to keep kids entertained if you've got children coming! You can find loads of print outs online, particularly Pinterest!
We can't decide what to do with the tables yet 🤦🏻♀️ but you idea sounds great x
We are doing Marvel superhero names, we have a way of presenting them too which is being kept under wraps til the day! Our family all love Marvel so natural for us to incorporate into the wedding x
We recently went to a wedding where there was no seating plan apart from the bride, groom and bridesmaids. It worked really well. I think we may do the same.
That's a really good idea, we are having Italian cities as our table names as we are going to Italy on our honeymoon x
I've decoupaged some 3D table numbers and I'm putting the names of flowers on them in wooden letters. That way they have names but are easy to locate also. Or wedding is based around the secret garden hence the flower names.
We had the names of some of our favourite restaurants as we love our food lol. I just made them :)
