I love the idea of getting married on a beach in North Wales. Anyone know how I would go about this and where would be a good place for the reception afterwards. We love Conwy, Rhyl, Prestatyn, Mostyn and Llandudno as these are the places we usually visit when we go on holiday to Haven with our daughter

Have a look at the local council's webpage in the Registrar section - they usually have good links. Porth Eirias Restaurant has just opened on Colwyn Bay prom with a lovely sea view. Further along in Criccieth there's Dylan's right on the end of the prom and Tavern On Th Bay in Benllech Anglesey with a fantastic view of the Great Orme. Good luck!

Hi you need to go to the Welsh council registrar, find out their fees then look into if they are will to travel to the said beach or if it's allowed on your chosen beach, I know only few beaches were possible in cornwall, you also have to tell your local registry office what you intend on doing and give a notice of marriage to them which is £35 per person or £70 a couple.
