Just wondering if anyone has used artificial flowers for their wedding or are planning to? I really feel like spending a fortune on fresh ones is a waste of money but I'd love some opinions...thanks xx
I am having artificial flowers because I want to be able to keep them. I am getting mine from silk blooms.com x
Hi I agree although fresh flowers are beautiful they cost far too much we are going to have artificial ones :)
I was thinking I might as I'm not really bothered about flowers but I know my mum is so artificial would be a win with us lol x
I'm planning fresh flowers for bouquets and small table decorations but artificial for surrounding decor (it is a garden reception)
We had artificial bouquets at my friends wedding and they were great but I've decided I want fresh for mine xx
Ive been married before an had artificial the first time... no disrespect as I really feel its each to their own... I personally was disappointed. This time round ive gone fresh, my friend had them and her room smelt beautiful. x
I think a mixture is ideal - brides bouquet artificial and table but for guests real? And for the groom etc x
I've made all mine myself using real touch calla lilies they look lovely x
There not too expensive if you look in right places got all mine for 591 and we have a hell lot of flowers
Got felt buttonholes from Joe Browns for the Bridal Party, no other buttonholes for anybody. Having atificial trailing ivy along the balustrades in church and some dried wheatsheafs as we get married around Thanksgiving time. Will have a couple of real flower arrangements in church too with autumn colours of oragnes, reds and yellows with some green. Will be buying the fresh flowers from tesco/lidl a couple of days before. My SIL will be doing the arranging as my mum taught her.
im having artificial flowers, i intend on keeping mine in a vase to look at every day
