My grandmother moved from India when she was a young woman and never had a chance to go back. She's now 80 and feels too old to travel. I wanted to surprise her by adding an Indian twist to a traditional wedding dress. I have seen many indowestern fusion dresses online but I am really struggling to find a shop that specialises in fusion dresses. Any suggestions? I have heard too many horror stories about buying online to want to chance it!

Try on utsav.com. I have ordered from them many times and never been disappointed and they have a sale on at the moment.
Or if you're really against buying online try to go to Green Street Upton Park in London and they have lots of shops there that sell Indian clothes and they are bound to have indowestern styles (although they could be expensive)

I changed into a westernised dress for the evening part of our wedding that matched our colour theme. My partner also got an Indian jacket.. There's lots of Asian dress shops London, Birmingham, Leicester. Good luck. Xx

How about having your hands decorated in henna with your western white dress? It can look really delicate & subtle if you use the brown henna x

What about finding a design you like and paying to have it made instead?

I don't know where you're based but Glasgow has tons, some straight Indian style and others hybrid - we have a shop "east meets west"
