I am going to have a mixture of our favorite classical music mixed in with some more modern music recorded on either piano or violin. x

We had very similar. My husband made an amazing playlist that we had subtly in the background consisting of all our favourite music in different classical variations. There are some amazing selections on YouTube/Spotify to give you ideas. I was nice background music without the words but the songs were recognisable.

I made a playlist of loads of different love songs. And for the drinks reception I had a playlist of acoustic/string quartet versions

I made my own playlists and copied it onto CDs. Lots of our favourite romantic songs (including some Michael Buble) however I wouldn't stress over it too much because you are unlikely to hear it with the happy chatter that will fill the room. x

Hi I got my venue to play a mix of love songs. To be honest with everyone talking you don't hear it xx

We had a play list of our random favourite songs, tbh as it's just background music you can't hear it that much as people are busy talking etc. Ours had Aerosmith, erasure, Bryan Adams... songs from tangled and frozen 😂 Robbie Williams etc xxx

We had Ed Sheeran Tenerife Sea and Kodaline The One as our background music along with my song I walked down the aisle too (OneRepublic All this time) then we had Michael bublé Crazy love as our first dance ..

We sent out little cards with our wedding invitations to come back with RSVPs asking guests to tell us their favourite love song and a song they would get up and dance to. We handed the latter to our DJ as requests to make sure everyone was catered for and the favourite love songs, I compiled into a playlist and loaded onto an iPod to be played during our wedding breakfast. I loved the idea of having something for everyone and our guests ranged from babies to 86 years old so got a really nice mix of musical tastes. It was lovely and when I hear some of the songs now, it reminds me of the day but I will say not to worry too much about it as once people are chatting and eating etc, the music just becomes background ambience rather than actual entertainment for people so play whatever makes you happy and suits your day

We found out what everyone's first dance was and we made a play list of all that, it was lovely to see people's reactions when they realised what was playing x
