Flowers! I'm in warwickshire & looking for flowers - bouquets (5) & buttonholes (9)The church is lovely so we weren't planning on flowers for there. What kind of price would you expect to pay for fresh vs artificial. I'm quite keen on artificial but if they are around same price as fresh then what is better? No preference of flowers but just needs to match colour scheme mint, white & gold. Thanks

I suggest having a look at dried flowers too :) that's what I've gone for you can find them on eBay and etsy and such

I've ordered artifical from 'Blossom and Bloom' and they quoted about the same as the florist in my wedding package was quoting for fresh flowers. They regularly do discounts and you have the added bonus of being able to keep them

Artificial will be cheaper than fresh. It all depends on what you want. I love flowers and really don't like artificial so I'll be having fresh all the way but you just have to decide if it's a priority for you. It all depends on the time of year too and what flowers you like, for example if you are getting married in spring then daffodils would match your gold theme and are very cheap. Roses are available all year round. Flowers like gypsophila, gerberas and alstroemeria are quite cheap compared to say, peonies, garden roses, orchids.

If they are quoting the same for artificial flowers as fresh then I personally don't think you can beat fresh flowers as I think they look nicer plus you get the lovely scents. That's my personal opinion though. Artificial flowers can still look nice so I understand why people would choose them if they are cheaper or they have allergies. You can also keep them after. It's your wedding so go with what you prefer.

I'm paying 60 for my bouquet, 35 for each of the bridesmaids bouquets and 9 for each buttonhole xx We looked into artificial but thought the fresh ones are a lot nicer.

Hello I am a keepsake bridal bouquet and floral accessories designer. Feel free to look at my page www.facebook.com/varshasbridalbouquets for examples of my work. Personally I love the element of being able to keep your bouquet and passing them on as a family heirloom x
