Hi I'm trying to set my budget, can anyone help me with prices for the photographer
Hi Have a look on line you will get an idea from there good luck :)
£400 seems to be the average
Theres such massive variations in prices from photographer to photographer and even then they often have a number of price options depending on what you want in terms of time taking photos, prints, extra photographers etc even where you are in the country so best idea is to research a few where you are, get an idea of what you want from your photos and what parts of the day you want photographing then email a few photographers to build an idea of an average price. Some photographer's want a few hundred, others want a thousand plus and there's so many price points inbetween that its much easier to gauge whats about right for your needs by getting a number of quotes. My tip would be to have an idea of what you want and ask if they can offer that to you and how much they would charge for it - our photographer was so helpful and tailored a package for us between 2 of her existing price points as one had too little time included and the other had far too much. Even if they dont do something like that, they'll be able to tell you what they offer that matches your needs the closest.
Depending where you are I got my photographer for £500 and his work is amazing and i get a book with it too with so many photographs in it and a disc with every photograph he took so I can print some off if I wish too. I did have to do alot of searching to find him but I'm so glad I did as most people was charging £1000 for a basic package and that is a disc with edited shots on and no album. I always want value for money so keep looking until you find one that you like and it's better if you search online.
The average is around £1000. The general rule is to spend 10-15% of your wedding budget on your photographer.
You've not told us where you live, so no, not really. Ask around, contact the photographers and ask
Mine was 700
Ours is about £1500. You get what you pay for, I think around £1000 for a whole day is about average. We didn't want to scrimp on the photographer because the photos are all you've got once the day is over. A lot of photographers websites don't disclose prices because it'll vary depending on how far they need to travel etc, so I'd recommend finding a few you like and contacting them for quotes. We did that, and we didn't end up choosing the cheapest either, I just think its one of the most important things you'll book for your wedding
It all varies on the package you take. Ours is £900 from bridal prep to first dance.
ours is £1100, & her photos are absolutely incredible, natural shots too as i hate having my photo taken! :) carla guest photography is her name, she's on fb :)
It depends on what kind of package you want. Ours was £2k. That included 3 photographers, a large photo album, 3 mini photo albums, 50 printed photos and all the edited photos on USB.
Our is £750 that's from prep through til after the first dance. It's someone I've known for years and he's very good so I'm happy with the price x
We've paid £1600 .. but he's with us from the time we get ready until the end of the night ... we absolutely loved his portfolio and can't be happier with who we've picked .. we decided we didn't want a video so spent more on the photographer ..
Mine is £600 her photos are great
I would suggest you need to get someone who is a member of a professional organisation that way you are guaranteed no problems I know this photographer is a bipp member and the work is lovely www.facebook.com/rfcroucherphotography
I have gone with a beautiful and very talented photography student.
I don't want all the posing pictures I just want natural snaps of the day.
Check your local photography college, they can help you out. Xx
I'd fully recommend my photographer Martin Davies (http://www.martindavies.co.uk) he has a great range of prices starting from £600 and he was brilliant for our day. We also got a great range of photos and he made sure all the details were covered. Couldn't praise him enough.
He's on Facebook too if you wanted to check him out
Happy to quote you professional photographer and member of the British Institute of Professional Photographers www.facebook.com/rfcroucherphotography
We're paying £1000 for ours but that includes a full day of photographs from getting ready until late evening. He provides some lovely additional touches such as a slideshow of photos taken though the day to be projected onto a screen during our first dance and a large framed photo printed on the day for guests to sign xx
Ours is very reasonable and has a few packages to choose from
We were £1150 from Bridal prep, speeches to first dance. Included engagement shoot with printed photo, 40 photos in a printed photo album and all photos on a USB stick. xx
£950 full fay for mine x
If you have the time look for offers. My photographer is normally £800 for full day coverage, but he had a bank holiday offer and I got the package for £560.
We've spent £995 from prep to first dance and we got an engagement shoot all photos on a USB and a photo album as well
Ours was £1195. That was 1 photographer starting when we after getting ready all the way up to the 3rd or 4th dance. We had a 70 photo full gloss leather bound album included plus 2 coffee table albums. Xxx
They really depend x I would just send for a few brochures. My sister go hers for £500 at a discount because it was last minute. Ours usually charges £1600 for the package we're having but is doing it free because she's family x
Ours is £480 with evening photo booth & back up photographer! All photos are on a disc at the end so would have to make our own album at the end though x
Ours £1100. He was with us from getting ready to the end of the night. Included a couples shoot before the wedding and an album plus a few prints x
£1200 for the full day. I checked a few prices online and it varied from 800-2000
Make sure you are fully happy before you pay a deposit have a face to face meeting
Ours was about £500 x
If anyone is looking for a photographer on a budget in the South East, I am a photographer and would cover from bridal prep to first dance for £425
Ours is 2500 pounds. 2 photographers, social media and UsB options, drones and 14 hrs on the day. You pay what you get. Our photos will be edited like celebrity magazine with all images edited. Don't pay for a photographer that is similar quality to an I phone or Instagram filter as that's wastes money and you can do it for free :)
