I'm making paper flowers, not long started and it will take a while. Plus I've probably spent quite a lot on paper so far but I think it will cover mine and the bridesmaids bouquets, plus plenty of other decorations. Part of doing it myself is to save money but also the satisfaction of making them myself!

I picked fresh flowers from my garden and dried them in silica gel (they keep their colour and shape better if you use that method) and arranged them myself. I loved how they turned out and because they were dried I didn't have to worry about them wilting.

My bouquet was £65 and beautiful. My moh had a posy of gerbera which I think was £30 then the bridesmaids had silk gerbera Wanda at £20 each then we did fancy corsages for the mums and groom and nice corsages for brothers, sisters and dads. Less than £250 all in.

All of mine has come to 1010 I think maybe a bit more but that includes all my centre pieces, long and low, 2 huge vases that will stand tall on the floor at the ends of my top table and all the bridal party flowers. Without all of those the bridal party's flowers come to about £320 I think including my bouquet, 2 bridesmaid bouquets, 2 Wanda and 2 flower baskets, then there are the moms corsages and all the button holes

I had artificial flowers for our wedding in May this year. I ordered them from a fantastic company called Groovy Ruby who are on FB. I can't recommend them enough, they were absolutely stunning. I had 1 brides teardrop bouquet, 2 large and 2 small bridesmaids bouquets, 2 corsages, 3 double and 3 single button holes and it all came to £85.30 with delivery!
