I get married June 2018 and I've had mine booked since November last year x

I booked mine with about 16 months to go. As your wedding is in the peak period I wouldn't leave it too long x

Main priority would be venue, photographer and videographer to book long in advance. I wouldn't think you would need so long for a cake maker :)

When I was thinking of getting a cake the lady I was going to use had just put on Facebook she is now fully booked for 2018. So I think I'd be booking now for 2019 x

I always think "the sooner, the better" x

I get married in May and we booked our cake in April :)

Just be sure if booking in advance that u keep in contact with cake person, as me and my then fiance booked our cake, went for samples and decided what we wanted. I then couldn't get in contact with cake woman about 3 months before wedding and turns out she forgot to put it in new diary and booked a holiday. We had to find someone new last minute. So stressful x

Allow about 9 months.
