Hi that depends on how much you have to do hairdresser, makeup etc. if your having your hair and make up done then I would think about 3 hours tops good luck:)

Hi
As you don't want to be rushed I'd say 3 hours if you're hairdresser and makeup person is coming to you, more if you have to go to them, plus travel time to wherever your getting married

At least a few hours before. Also remember that you will need to speak to the registrar before hand, so you will need to be ready 15/20 minutes before your ceremony starts.

I'm getting married at 1 and my hairdresser is coming at 7. She is putting my hair in heated rollers and then she will do the bridesmaids hair and then come back to me. Make up artist will be coming at about 8. We don't want to rush, want to make sure we have something to eat before we leave.

If you are having hair and make up done they will tell you what time they are arriving, but I would say about 3 to 4 hours before you need to be leaving so that it's nice and chilled and you can watch your bridesmaids getting their hair done etc too. Also gives a bit of leeway for any delays or problems

Hi, I got married at 1:30 and started getting ready at 6. I did my own make up and my mum did my hair. We had a really relaxed morning (well as relaxed as could be. I was still panicking!) x

This was a question I was thinking about.
We are getting married at 1pm however I want to get ready at the venue but they won't allow me
Into a room till 11am I've even asked about staying the night before but they can't permit it unless I book 6 rooms approx £800 for the night before
I don't want to be rushed or panicked but we also need to meet with the registrar before for approx 30mins?? Doesn't leave a lot of time to get ready
Anyone have any suggestions

I'm having a 1pm wedding. My makeup artist and hairdresser are coming over at 8.30/9am to start work on myself and my 3 bridesmaids. We have estimated they they'll need 45 minutes per person with a little time to spare so that we can leave the house at 12.30/12.45

Ours is at 1pm and we are going to the salon and are to be back at my mums for 12 to get dresses on and pictures the chapels only a 10minute drive if that so 3 hrs for hair and makeup 9-12 then 45mins for dresses and pictures should be plenty x

My wedding was at 1pm. I had 4 bridesmaids and we started getting hair and make up from 0700... I got in my dress at 1200 as the venue was st the hotel we were staying in... I was able to have a reasonably chilled morning spending time with my bridesmaids with a few cheeky proseccos ...

Could you book a room under a different name? Then just move over to your room at 11? Might be a way of getting round the 6 room minimum. x

Work out what time you need to be ready by like if it takes you an hour to get to he location of the ceremony you know you need to be ready by 12 to leave.

With my wedding I'm getting ready 3 hrs before I get there - including travel time but I'm not having a make up artist or hair dresser so may need to add more time x
