Hello fellow Brides To Be! I'm after some advice regarding the groomsmen...

I haven't tried them yet, but we've looked at Slaters.

My OH is going to Matalan, they are doing a Jacket, Shirt and Trousers for £50. Not sure if it's online only offer but they would accept exchange at the shop if needed x

We got all of ours from burtons.. Whole suit, shirt and waist coat for £129

My husband got his from Slaters, great place. Burton's also do nice suits, my hubby got one there for his pals wedding; good quality for the price and he got a free pair of shoes

Not for our wedding,but Matalan are surprisingly good for suits,you can often buy a complete suit for less than the hire price. Bought my OHs suit for my sister's wedding from Matalan a couple of years ago. Think it was £60,and he got trousers,jacket and waistcoat

Wedding fairs in your local area will have lots of little independent shops.

Slaters were great :) all the boys looked amazing. Got ties and pocket hankies from there too. Not expensive either xx

My H2B got a lovely outfit from Slaters in Preston, there is one in Liverpool too that I know.
The staff were great and helped pick exactly what we were after, as we didnt want a suit so we got help and had a DIY kind of suit/outfit.
We will certainly be heading there to get his wedding outfit, best man and my dads suit cx

We did m&s.. some great suits and they did different fits in the same colour so suited everyone.

I would highly recommend slaters we had a fantastic experience with them.

Suits direct youngs

Hired from green woods - if you hire 5 you get the grooms for free. £90 per suit, incl tie, shirt, cufflinks, waistcoat, blazer and trousers. They do alterations and fittings, pick up the week before the wedding and drop of the weekday after the wedding - pick up and drop off to any greenwoods in the country!! No faff!!

We have used slaters and they are fab £80 for a three piece and do all the alterations free 4 weeks before the wedding

My HTB is going to try slaters in Manchester .. We get married 1st September x

Slaters are meant to be very good for suit hire.

My sister got all hers from primark. Full suit including waistcoats cost £70 x

Matalan is really good and very reasonably priced xx

We got shirts from a MossBros outlet store. They were exactly the same but being sold at 2 for the price of 1.... waistcoat was £17 instead of £75. Crazy but great value.x

We've used Slaters for all H2B suits and will definitely be using them for his wedding suit! They're friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble, excellent customer service 👍🏻 x

Another thumbs up here for Slaters h2b used them when he was best man. Service and quality were fantastic and we will use them for our wedding. Grooms men cab return suits to any of the stores x

I'm using a company called posh suits in coventry £85 for a tail suit including shirt, waistcoat, cravats, pocket hanky and cufflinks with insurance. They were also doing 6 for the price of 5 when I booked mine.

We got ours at Marks and Spencer and they are lovely :) my H2B didn't want tails or anything, just a nice suit that he would be able to wear again

I can absolutely recommended Slaters. We went to the Leeds store and they have been brilliant. Service has been excellent, nothing too much trouble. H2b got his suit for £194, but it's a black 3 piece that he can wear again. Alterations are free and their suits start from £49. H2b was worried about getting something to fit as he's a 6'4" ex rugby player. He has said he will go there again for clothes in future x

Marks and spencers. Nice quality. Married 9 years ago (nearly) and it's still a suit in use today. well worth the £60 odd

We've had all our from Primark will never buy HTB a suit from anywhere else ever again amazing quality and just over £50 each

We have bought ours from china ( yes china omg..... same place everything in a shop comes from) .
The suits are amazing h2b ( bit of a snob about clothes) said he'll never buy another suit from a shop it's the best fit hes ever had and has ordered another. We bought navy blue checked wool blend tweed suits . It's cost us £400 for 8 adults and four children.

At the weekend we are going to look in Matalan, they have some really lovely suits that aren't as expensive as every where else x

We got ours from a local independent suit hire place. We got a discount for booking early. We paid £675 for 6 suits, which included shirts, waistcoats, cravats, braces and cufflinks. The service was brilliant from day 1

We bought ours from matalan. Full 3 piece suit, shirts and shoes.
I ordered cufflinks and ties online to match colour scheme.
This all came to the same cost as hire. Plus they all got to keep their suits and I didn't have to worry about gathering them all up again after or paying extra if they split them or spilt wine etc xxx

i'm having a country theme, so found lovely tweed waistcoats on ebay (ordered one to check the quality & its amazing), chinos from primark & white shirts.. just got to get some tan shoes which will probably be from ebay too! :) x

Matalan were fab and lovely suits for a reasonable price and we're very helpful

Try slaters they're cheaper than everywhere else with much nicer suits on offer, they're also really flexible and patient and care. Even after we kept chopping and changing the suits because we couldn't decide which one they gave us advice and let us choose no pressure. They really do have the best service by far out of all of them!

Slaters are good value £ 99 full suit with any alterations and good quality x

We got our best man,son and my dad's suit from matalan.Real bargain at 50 quid.My hubby got his elsewhere just because they didn't have his size.Lòoked at moss bros etc but hubby said why pay them prices when you can get a decent suit at a more reasonable price.xx

greenwoods, really good, they do deals doo if you get a weddng party of certain amount the groom goes free and you get 20% of the whole lot etc..
