Are you lovely ladies going to wear a garter? I can't make up my mind as I've already got my something blue - my nan's blue stone ring.

I bought one but when it came to the big day, it was slightly too big and just kept falling down so I had to take it off! Lol. xx

I wore one. Only my bridesmaids knew until my hubby and I were alone later x

Nope, I didn't want the stress of it sliding down my leg as I walked down the aisle!!

I think I'm wearing a blue one borrowed from my mother in law to be- and my fiancé might wear a tartan one under his kilt!

I've decided not to wear a garter but I've got myself an anklet instead! I usually wear an anklet so I thought this was a nice idea! Also I couldn't really get my head around the tradition for a garter!

I have one, but I think it will be annoying during the day so I may just wear it at my evening reception x

God no, personally not my thing, they look nice on some people but I have chubby thighs and it'll probably cut into my skin and be uncomfortable and not look remotely attractive. No one will be able to see so it won't make a difference, that's just my opinion, but they can look nice so if it's what you want go for it

I got mine for my hen do but it's a bit scratchy. So I'm planning on taking it off after the ceremony and putting it back on for the night x

I had a garter and I didn't even notice it during the day, I did panic it would irritate me in the heat (it was 32 when I got married) I didn't throw it but hubby loved it xx

I'm not - but I have a garter tattoo on my leg so that's the only reason why!

I wore mine for about 10 steps around the house before I left (lol). It was the most uncomfortable thing. Altho I had a VERY fitted dress. My photographer did catch this shot of my mum and sister putting mine on unbeknownst to us which is nice tho. It's nice to have for pics/memory box but practically - no!

Lol I bought one with the intention to wear it... But I bought it years before I bought my dress ( I got engaged after being with my fella for 1 year but we were engaged for 13 years... Kids happened)
The dress I wore would have shown it up in lumps and bumps because it was a silk dress.... So I left it off xxxxxxxxx

I had a garter but to be honest in all the hustle and bustle of trying to get to the church and already being fashionably late- I forgot it!!!!

I got one free with my wedding dress but not sure if I'll wear it, not sure how comfortable I will feel with it on, the same with the stockings and suspenders, I've bought a pair of tights too just in case, don't want to feel all trussed up and uncomfortable as it will be a long day. xx
