Anyone looking at loosing weight for the big day? Really need to get my motivation back and get back on it!
Yeah I am. My motivation is my wedding dress and being able to run around with my son without being out of breath lol.
Fitbit is a great way to keep motivated!
Hi I have two healthy smoothies a day with a light meal at night, I have lost 7lbs. in the last 6 weeks. I want to lose another stone good luck everyone :)
yes but I'm not interested in starving myself to achieve my goal. I've joined Gymophobics which is a women's only weight/inch loss exercise programme which is really great! Depending on where in the UK you are there may be one nearby, I definitely recommend it. I've also been getting up first thing before work and doing step aerobics at home 3-4 times a week. Resistance training cardio whilst eating healthily (NOT starving yourself by only having two smoothies and a light meal per day as someone has suggested, which really isn't enough) that's a good balance. For me it's about health as well as losing weight, my motivation has improved thanks to the gym I now go to as they weigh and measure you every three weeks and help you to achieve your goals, I am also now only 8 months from the wedding, I wasn't able to motivate myself when it was over a year away but now it's getting closer I'm on it :) good luck!
I am aiming to lose 5.5 stone before my wedding and I'm already 1st 4.5lbs down! I am doing it with slimming world so I'm not starving, walking more and doing pilates! Good luck! Xx
I've joined Slimming World. I don't have a lot to lose but once I reach my goal thry will help me to maintain it until my wedding day
Me! I have 0 motivation at the minute! If anyone finds some send it my way please! X
My fitness pal is fab! X
I'd definitely recommend Slimming world. This is me from December 2016 (on the right) and June 2017 (on the left) I've lost 2 stone 7 1/2 lbs so far.
I'm on eating healthy and getting back to exercise. I use to do loads of running but I have sciatica and it flares up if I do too much. Just had to have a month off running as too much pain but I'm building back up. I'm very much a believer in eat less and move more. I did WW years ago and although it got me started it doesn't actually teach you about nutrition or portion sizes and that's why often people yoyo on it so I avoid that type of thing. Everything in moderation x
www.woodmansfitness.co.uk PT based in South Lincs. but he offers weight loss/ fitness programmes and email/ text support. :) He lost over 5 stone on his own, which motivated him to retrain as a PT in 2015
I am doing the c9 cleanse I did it last year and lost 9 1/2 lbs and 14 inches of body xx I am a forever living rep and can add you onto our weight management group x
Hi am on the Cambridge diet x
My dress has a corset back so the seamstress said I can lose about two stone without needing any adjustments. I'm using my fitness pal and walking more. Motivation is wearing the beautiful dress and loving it for me xxxxx
I get married in 12 weeks and don't fit into my dress I'm having a corset fitted to make sure it fits on the day thou
I'm on Cambridge weight plan
They teach you how to eat properly/better if you follow the steps
It is not an easy one to stick to though. I lost 3 stone in 3 months and I've been maintaining for about 6 but I've still got more weight I want to lose! Just need to get my head back in it
I have got my self a personal trainer starting august . I have no motivation on my own . Get married next July so hoping he can help me . Don't want to be hating all the photos of me on my special day . Xx
I had to go on a strict diet for health reasons where I cut out all sugar and sweet things including fruit and some veg, gluten and dairy. I was basically left with meat and veggies lol I lost 2 stone in three months with that and also got rid of my health problem so came off the diet and just tried not to over do it. I've put a little bit back on but I love my body and size now even though I'm still a size 12/14. I think lose a little if you want but the most important thing you can do is learn to love yourself as you are
Up fruit & veg
Reduce bad fats
Get of bus one to two stops early
Drink lots
Lost 5.5 stone so far with slimming world for the wedding. Still a way to go yet but getting there
No carbs
Easy! I love carbs too but you slim down so quickly
No calorie counting
Full fat, high protein, no carbs
I had a baby 6 weeks ago and get married in 8 weeks ive been getting up 6am to hit the gym three times a week. I bought my dress before o fell pregnant and need to lose a stone. I also have hypothyrodism which makes losing and maintaining weight difficult. I'm actually really enjoying the gym an seeing the results x
I did juice plus to lose weight for my wedding lost 2.5 stone in 12 weeks and have maintained my loss now for 7 months. I loved the plan and products so much that I became a mentor so if you'd like a helping hand feel free to get in touch
I joined a couch to 5k running group. We motivated each other and I lost weight and toned up for my wedding.
I'm also in favour of Slimming World. I joined at the beginning of May, after bumping into a friend I'd not seen for a few months and she looked fab after joining 4 months earlier. I've lost just over a stone, coming down from 11 stone 5lb to 10 stone 2lb in around 2 and a half months! I feel great knowing I'll look so much better for my wedding in 2 weeks time!
Yep, but i was already trying to lose a bit of weight just to get healthy. I'm doing bbg (bikini body guru) its working for me, i've lost 8lb in 5 weeks. I've been doing bbg since febuary this year but have been quite unconsistent with it due to health issues. But i am sticking to it now. I am to lose another 16lb by xmas. X
We've motivated each other to get ready for the big day in August! Lots of exercise and a complete change of diet xx
I started slimming world last November. I didn't do it for the wedding but it has worked out well as I'll hopefully be at target in time for the big day. I have lost 6 stone so far and still have at least 2 to go. I find it better as it's not a diet, it's healthy eating and you still get to enjoy the things you love. I've gone from a size 26 to a 14 and I feel like a different person
Yes. I'm 1.5 stone down and have another 3 to go! Got a year or so to do it!
I recommend slimming world its great that how I lost my 8 stone looking forwards to being a slim bride second time around xx
Try lean in 15 books. Quick exercises yummy food and. Loads of choices x
I have recently done the New You diet programme, 10 day detox and I lost 8lbs in 10 days and my H2B lost 18lbs. I have received so many comments on how well I look and lost a dress size from a 14 to a 12. I will defo do this a few more times before the wedding.
I started doing Joe Wicks 90 day sss plan 3 weeks before I was proposed to, couldn't really get motivated but we are now planning for our wedding April next year so that's given me a bit of a kick
Yeah i'm getting married in Barbados in June 2019,to help me be healthy i bought ice lolly molds and blended, sifted fruit to put into them, they are a nice healthy sweet treat, also putting up a before pic of you eating healthy and exercise presents a challenge of improving yourself.
Not so much looking at weight loss but I'm definitely hoping to be more toned for my wedding which is requiring a major shift in gear on the exercising front! Totally agree on the motivation frontier, it's the key factor!
Me!!!!! Im an 18/20! Want to be 10/12 suffering with severe depression atm. Need to lose weight but loose my motivation.
Me! I've started doing HiiT sessions and seeing good improvements - just can't shift my mum tum
I'm on slimming world and lost just over a stone in 7 weeks looking 2 lose another 2 stone b4 my big day

I am a personal trainer with a degree in exercise and health sciences and help women achieve their goals for their wedding. I provide a range of training and I am totally freelance, so come to you, no need to step foot in a gym. The most successful and fastest way is by using a mixture of hiit training and eating healthily. I don't condone fad dieting as with these women tend to put the weight on after their big day. Feel free to inbox me for further information. I am based in Oldham and freelance in Manchester and the surrounding areas.
I'm already 3 stone 11lb lighter on Slimming World (doing it since before I got engaged) but it's given me a new wave of determination to be down to my target weight & stay there so I can get an amazing dress & have the energy to dance the night away ❤️
I did slimming world for about 9 month and lost over a stone then just lost all motivation for it because I kept playing with the same 4 pounds and felt like I was just hoying money away. If you're in the north east there's a great fitness class called skinny pigs but I'm sure any class that's a mix of toning and high intensity will be fine and just been eating healthier and taking green tea tablets from Holland and barret. I'm not using scales anymore and going purely on pictures this is after a week and a half x
If you have enough time defo do slimming world. I've been doing it now for 13 months and have lost 6 stone. Started when we got engaged. Getting married in 4 weeks and so excited x
I just want to get more tone to my body! Luckly where we are getting married myself and H2b get a months free pass to their gym/swimming pool/spa. So a months major work out before the day! Lol
If anyone can help me with 3 days to go that would be much appreciated
Yes I have 2 years to lose 2 stone and tone up but really struggling with motivation
I recommend RH fitness to everyone it's a Facebook page it's only £3.50 a month but is amazing. I didn't lose any weight for about 3 years and now it's dropping off me. My mum is worried me dress won't fit anymore and won't be able to be taken in enough. They teach you to manage your own diet so you eat the foods you like. Best thing I ever did. Good luck x
I am hoping to be in better shape and have just over a year until the wedding. I lost 3 stone about 2 years ago and have maintained the loss. I personally think the key is to not become obsessed with numbers on the scales, it is all about how your body feels for you. I have never been on a successful diet in my life, I just make conscious decisions about what I eat and allow a treat now and again. I also enjoy exercising and don't bother with anything I don't enjoy as it won't be effective. Anyway that's what I find works but may not fit everyone! X
