Hey everyone :) so I I'm having a "peacock" coloured wedding and originally wanted my 5 bridesmaids to be the 5 peacock colours (blue, green, teal, purple and gold/brown) but all wearing the same dress. Now I'm having some doubts like this wouldn't look very good. Seems most people have the bridesmaids in all the same colour. Would it look weird/gross?

Hi Kelsey most people have the same colour, if you know you can get all the colours you want you may have to change the shades but not the actual colour so they don't clash good luck :)

I'm sure it'll look fine - those colours are beautiful! We had purple and teal when we got married :)

I think it would look great! I personally would go for a lime green or something instead of the gold/brown or maybe even just another shade of blue or purple but that's just my preference, otherwise I think it sounds lovely :)

I had mine in all different colours with the cake to match the colours. It was perfect. I think if you're having the same dress it will look great x

I'm doing the same with regards to peacock colours.y two young girls are in a jade/teal and the adults can choose which of the other colours they want.

Tbh I'm not to sure. But have you thought of teal coloured dresses and their flowers with all the colours of the peacock x

Get on pinterest, everytime I start to doubt my choices I go on there to see if I can find an example of how it looks

I went to my friends wedding a week ago and each bridesmaid wore a different colour but the same dress and it was lovely. Her's were pastel summer colours though so it's worth getting swatches to see if it'll work.

It's your wedding day do what you want doesn't matter what other people have done or do. As long as your happy. My bridesmaids are having different style dresses in either purple, blue and green there choice of shade. Xxx

ALL THE COLOURS - honestly it looks so much more exciting than just one colour. Especially if they're all on a theme or contrasting. :)

I have heard or seen others wearing different colours or different dresses but as said above, good luck with finding the same dress in all the colours

You could always go into somewhere like Debenhams or John Lewis and get everyone to try on the different colours you're thinking of, you'll be able to see them altogether then!

I was going to have the same with jewel tones- navy blue, dark green, burgandy, deep purple and gold. Saw a couple of examples and it looked kick ass
