My partner and i met at the theatre. We've been in many plays together and so each table is going to be named after a play with props associated to it lent from the theatre x

Our theme was music as we both love the same bands so we had our tables names after our favourite bands we have saw together and our centre pieces were old tape cassettes made into vase with lights inside and put on top of a record. My bridesmaids were in lemon so colour theme was through out too. We loved them and everyone wanted to take them home at end of night x

I went for a vintage theme and every table was different... so they all had vintage items like books, cake stands, glasses, teapots, cups! It looked great with the flowers coming out of!

Saw this at a wedding fair last week. Thought it was rather nice but I don't think I could do it at my venue

I'd wait till nearer the time as you may change your mind and end up wasting money, I've had to change slightly as the bridesmaid dresses I bought didn't fit properly and been unable to find others in the same colour. X

I have a colour theme, which is purple and white (all shades, this will help with bridesmaid dresses and decorations) but I'm also including our hobbies as crafts and plants in there too. So lots of home made paper and origami flowers and bits as well as greenery (some real and fake) but you could incorporate themes like that as well.

Look on Pinterest they have lots of ideas. We're having blue bridesmaid dresses and invitations but that's it in terms of a colour scheme. I'm not having chair covers as our chairs are nice without. I'm having a secret garden theme that suits our venue so will be tying keys into it. I think we're doing jars with flowers, tree slices and candles and some candelabras decorated in flowers. Very simple but suits our venue well. If you have your venue then have a look at what works with your venue and see if they have any photos of past weddings. Ours is a marquee at a country house with beautiful gardens hence our theme.

We're having important cities and cities we've visited as table names but the theme is just fairly rustic (we're country people) so home grown flowers, pine cones we've collected whilst walking the dogs, sat on tree stumps which we collected from the woods and some candles. We're not incorporating the colours here but the chair covers will be in the colour theme. We didn't want anything too high or at eye level as it gets in the way of people talking across the table. Hope that helps

My colour theme is blush & navy. Our centre pieces are glass jars and gin bottles with flowers in :)

Mine is lilac and light blue with a bit of purple thrown in. Our centrepieces are lanterns with tea lights in, mason jar decorated and filled with lilac and purple flowers and then got some light glass tea lights holders which I'm decorating. We are incorporating a Marvel theme too so I'm making some Marvel hearts to go on the tables etc x
