How many litres of petals do I need to buy for a light scattering along the aisle? Don't know the length of the aisle but just a rough estimate would do. I've worked out we need 1 litre per 10 guests for throwing but not a clue how much we need for the aisle and online calculators ask you for the square meters of it which I don't have. And should it be small petals or larger petals for the aisle?
Have you asked for permission to use them, some places dont want the mess...

Not sure about litres but i got 2 boxes of cream petals and 2 boxes of red petals and scattered the aisle perfectly. Granted they were fake and from the range but pretty good! Didn't even use all the petals!
Tbh I think your over thinking this ....
1, check with your venue that you can use them inside & out
2, for guests to throw they only need a handful each
3, if you have enough time ... get friends neighbours to dry petals for you
It really depends on how long the aisle is. See if you can find that out and have a look on the online calculators again. Personally I would go with big petals. x
Don't know about the amount of petals but an aisle runner for 5 rows averages 3.5m2, 6 is 3.75m2 and 7 is 4.5m2 so you could always use those in the online calculators x
You would need the measurements of the aisle to make sure you had enough. If you only but one or two boxes it might not fill the space and have enough covering. Ask you venue for the measurements
I bought 2000 artificial petals and this was my aisle. Hope this helps
Hi I agree with Sharon check if you can put petals down first :)
Just a bit of advice (my vicar told me this!) we were going to have petals down the aisle but we've changed as my dress touches the floor with a train and it will gather up all the petals to the top! X
