We have a gap between the lunch gathering and the evening gathering. We are thinking about hiring a magician to fill the gap. How did others fill the gap?

I did exactly that too! We had roughly 2 hours or so to fill, so with help from Bark.com, we hired a magician, who seems to be a really nice guy, also offering a decent rate.

Don't worry about filling the gap xx
Save your money. People enjoy the chill time and like to catch up with old friends etc

We're have the same issue! However we've decided to have a fun trivia quiz which will also get everyone talking over eating, then going to do results with a funny prize - this way we won't be needing to spend much more money on anything.. xx

Our photographer is a close up magician and we are getting a bouncy castle for the kids and adults. X

We didn't bother with anything and glad we didn't as guests used the time to chat and mingle and to check into their hotel rooms. Also some of our evening guests arrived early so that was nice for us to be able to have a chat with them. You could use the time to ask your bridesmaids and ushers to circulate the guest book and get some video messages if you're having a video done.

We just put old fashioned games on the tables around the bar, we had pick up sticks, dominoes, jenga and tiddly winks. People like the opportunity to talk and catch up and just relax. I wouldn't worry too much about it tbh x

I'm planning on having an old fashioned ice cream van come to act ask dessert along with drinks outside in the patio area during the 'in limbo' part. Think it'll give everyone a good chance to mingle & the girls can use the cottage that's onsite to touch up their make up etc 😊

All our guests were happy just relaxing, mingling and chatting. The weather was great so most people were in the garden. We provided board games, sweets, biscuits and photo albums of our life together since we met. The time went really quickly. X
