Can someone help me with kind of fake tan to use for the day. I'm frighteningly pale and need to use some kind of tan that won't go over my dress. Someone suggested a spray tan but that always always runs onto clothes when I sweat even when showered off. Help? What should I use? What's everyone else used for their big day? Thanks. Xx

there are two things you can try that I really like- 1 is Sally Hensons leg spray- it is basically like a foundation for your skin spray it onto your gloved hand and rub all over - i use it on my arms and back as well it doesnt come off unless you use warm soapy water!! The second is Loreal overnight tan- you must be really careful with this one- shower and exfoliate and moisterise then just before bed rub this into your whole body- be very careful with areas like your knees and elbows- sleep (i PROMISE it will NOT COME OFF ON YOUR SHEETS) then in the morning shower off for a lovely fresh all over tan and repeat every day for up to 4 days! Give them a go way before your wedding and see which you prefer xxx

Y dont u try using a tinted moisteriser up until your big day. It should give you more colour without worrying about it going on your dress.

Ok so if you are swaying towards fake tan I would 100% recommend vita liberata three week tan. It's expensive but the colour pay off is great and you can do it a few days before so you aren't massively orange, then I would too up with mac face and body foundation, or sally Hansen airbrush legs (although sometimes it makes my skin a little dull....but I think that's more me than the tan!!) xxx

I use garnier moisturizer with a gradual fake tan in it .. the do a deep look and a light one .. you could apply daily a week before your big day .. it goes on like moisturiser, doesnt streak and is a lovely natural colour. I prefer the dark one. The good thing is you could get some now and practice with it to see what colour is best for you. Apply your last one the day before your wedding and you wont get any sweaty brown marks. I think its a great product and use it all the time xx

Skinny tan is amazing it only tans to your bodies natural tone so it's brilliant. I'm pale and love it

Skinny tan all the way. It is the best. No streaks. Get the 24 hour tan it's in offer at the moment in boots and super drug. If you look up a video on YouTube on how to apply skinny tan it really helped. No orange hands and feet just perfectly bronzed...it won't come off on your dress either. Do it a few days before and it actually gets better.

I'm pale but I use tanning beds... three 10 min sessions do the trick and it lasts for ages!

I'm very pale but didn't bother with a tan. I never have one normally, so wouldn't have looked like me.

Lol I wouldn't dare use fake tan. Why not go to a tanning salon?

I'm having the same dilemma, and I'm thinking I'm actually going to go pale, as I'm terrified of being streaky or it coming off on my dress

I'm quite pale naturally and I use St Moriz or Cocoa Brown. I sometimes get a wee bit rubbing off on my bra, but not anything else.

There's a lady on my friends list who has a tan business and she has fake tan especially for brides which doesn't run - it's a clear solution and smells nice to xx her website is www.stakssprays.co.uk

If the spray tan is done right and is a high quality it shouldn't run... I had a spray tan and because I wasn't wanting to be obviously tanned they recommended a medium...which when washed off was lovely... Looked a bit of a tit when I went to my dress rehearsal right after having it done in a onesie mind you hahaha. Umpa lumpa in tigerprint!

I used Palmers coco gradual tan/tinted moisturiser it was great and no running!! Used it for about two weeks up to the day and practiced two weeks before my hen do to see how the colour was as tan usually doesn't take too well with my skin! This is me with the gradual tan usually I am really white as I have naturally red hair!

I use an after sun tanning cream..it's great.. use it once a day to gradually build your tan up, it doesn't go blotchy or uneven, doesn't come of unless washed with soapy water and also have full control over how dark it gets..I put it on twice..1each day and literally had a beautiful tan! So many people said what a lush tan it was a no one knew it was a sun tan lotion

I have had the best advice ever! St tropez everyday body lotion! It's amazing and gives you an amazingly natural tan without the orangeness or the biscuits smell! Comes from boots for a very reasonable £15! And on Amazon!

Rimmel matt in light. I'm ghostly normally but this looks very natural. A pair of exfoliating gloves and a mitt are a must! Xx

Skinny tan all the way
I am pale and always hated it. I have slowly come to like it. However i like having a 'healthy glow'
I just dont colour on sunbeds or sunshowers, and have tried EVERY fake tan/gel/mouse/spray i can buy. And i have since found skinny tan. (I use 7 day skinny tan, instant but can build it up withouy overdoing it or going wood colour lol) I can honestly apply it with the mitt with my eyes closed and its not streaky. I highly reccomend everyone to give it a try. Superdrug have buy one get 2nd half price atm.... really good deal. I have just ordered the new tan oil to give it ago. Xxx

Gradual tan moisturisers. ATM I'm using garnier it does not transfer at all and looks so natural. I apply with a tanning mit so I don't stain hands. It goes on as a moisturiser and builds up over time but I use once a week and have a nice glow.

I use the solait mousse tan it's in a pink bottle can get in super drug or boots, you have to keep it on for up to 4 hours then you shower it off and the colour builds up over 8 hours it gives me a natural tan not too dark, doesn't go streaky and doesn't come off on clothes, it goes quite dark when you apply it but when you shower it off there's not much colour but the colour builds up nicely over a few hours
