We get married in just under 2 weeks and we're having Bump & Grind by R Kelly it's a bit of a joke between us and our friends from when we first got together and everyone was saying that's what we should go for. I was really unsure at first but it didn't feel right choosing a slow song just because it was traditional. It will be different and will hopefully get a little laugh! One thing I've learnt the last few months and what other brides are always telling me - do what you two want, it's your day! Xx

We started with 'you're my best friend' by queen so it was sort of slow but half way through changed to 'crazy little thing called love' also by queen so that was more upbeat and we loved it. Have whatever you want!

One of my friends had 'Brown Eyed Girl as her first dance & another of my friends had 'F*** her gently' by Tenacious D! It was a long standing joke with the couple & they were determined to have that song x

We had a medley of tracks. Started off with a traditional slow dance but went into other songs half way through!

We had the theme to 50 shades of grey ..

We are having a singer singing the piano version of every time we touch but then when everyone joins us we are changing it to the clubland version as my singer is a 90's clubland singer xx

We had superman by five for fighting. It meant a lot to us x x

We had two versions of the same song, so the proper first dance was a true to original cover of stand by me, then later in the evening when the DJ started we asked him to play a ska-punk type cover of stand by me, wouldn't have changed it for the world xx

We are having meat loaf I will do anything for love for our first dance as it's the only sing we can agree on lol x

We had dancers! Our wedding was a 1920's theme. The DJ called us up for our 1st dance and played the dancers song, "pencil full of lead" we acted like he had messed up saying it was the wrong song then the dancers came on the dance floor and took over. Perfect for us. We never had a song that was "ours" and neither of us really wanted a 1st dance.
